My Second Chemotherapy Experience | Breast Cancer Stage 2a

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hi, I’m a 41-year-old woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 2a, which means the cancer cells have spread from the ducts to the surrounding breast tissue. The cancer is also hormone-receptor positive, which means it grows in response to estrogen and progesterone.
My treatment plan consists of six rounds of chemotherapy followed by radiation therapy. The chemotherapy drugs I’m receiving are called FEC-D, which stands for fluorouracil, epirubicin, cyclophosphamide, and docetaxel. These drugs are given by injection into the vein every three weeks.
In this video, I’m going to share with you what I’m doing to get ready for my second chemo session. I’ll talk about how I’m coping with the side effects, what I’m eating and drinking, and what I’m doing to stay positive and motivated.
If you are going through a similar situation or know someone who is, I hope this video can help you or them in some way. Please like, comment, and subscribe to my channel for more updates on my journey. Thank you for watching and supporting me.
Im on FEC D treatment plan

You’re doing fine. I know ports make the chemo much easier to administer. You should talk to someone who has had one. That’ll be good advice.

I have a port, makes chemo and blood draws so much easier. Also no worries about harming veins or multiple sticks.
