Just a suggestion, try adding some coopper grease to the mounting face of the wheel to the hub. It will prevent it from welding itself.

A small tip for welding small cracks. Use 2,85mm 3Dprinting filament of the right material. And a dremel to friction weld. You don't get the same heat expansion as with a plastic welder.

Porsche 959 has always been my dream car. Had a Matchbox version when I was a kid and loved it!

Surely a hard ceramic coating would be a better paint protector that a plastic wrap I would have thought? Sam would you please share why you decided to go that way? The car looks fantastic. Purple is my favourite colour.

my favourite car was a fiat mirafiori sport 2.0 litre. i have had jaguars , lotus , and many others but you should drive the fiat. it was lovely.

My dream car is the current Supra (yes I know it’s a bmw, that got old😂) Love the 50:50 weight distribution, i6 engine that doesn’t flex the car to much, fairly lightweight compared to most other sports cars in it’s class, hugs corners like a cloud.

Is there a Samcrac "Life History" video? Background mechanical experience, farm/chicken situation, etc? I'm interested.

@@fockewulf2352 If your car (worth 2 grand) is impounded and the bill is 3k to get it out, you get robbed out of a car. Impound lots are a scam and mostly have garbage business practices/people. I wish they would all go out of business.

it falls on the idiot who decided to drive the vehicle without the proper paperwork to begin with, there is no excuse for stupidity and your friend is clearly a idiot , he took a chance and lost, he should pay the bill. now the overcharge for the impounded vehicle is another matter. i ran a wrecker for almost 40 years and we had contracts with the police departments and we could only charge a predetermined amount for impounds and storage and accident recoveries the last one i did it was 75 for the impound and 15 a day in storage with a 30 day hold without the hold it was 25 a day

As a professional tow truck operator I have a tip for you when it comes to tapping stuck wheels off: leave one lug nut on loosely. That way the wheel can't pop off. I imagine you would have been pretty upset if it had landed face down on the concrete after that fresh powder coating job

That's why I like Rich and his channel so much. Anyone else would have turned it into a race thing. Not that he didnt have tags and was probably getting on it a bit. I would have been just getting it.
