When people ask me what a Russian Blue looks like I refer them to this video. It shows it all. The mauve paw pads the emerald eyes. The long skinny pencil tail, and the beautiful blue gray fur. Also the long slender legs and triangle face.

I had a Russian Blue for 18 years, she was the best companion. Watching your video really brought back memories of the eye contact, my Russian was so in touch. I've had Abysinians since and they're super naughty like monkeys. One day I will have another Russian Blue companion, they are wonderful pets, their beauty is just a bonus.

@@MinsterRogers Abyssinian is more anarchic and wild. Both are very affectionate but in my experience, Russians are a bit more reserved, gentle and more attached to one or two people. If you have dogs, Abyssinians might be better though, they tend to love dogs as much as people.

Russian Blues are awesome and one of the best kinds of cats. I had one. She was intelligent, curious, sweet, loyal, and funny as hell.

Your boy is so sweet!!! I have a Russian Blue (mix?). She has a white underbelly & paws with a little white mustache & a little tiny goatee under her bottom lip. She was a stray/feral, and besides the white parts, she has all the traits of a Russian Blue including the green eyes & mauve colored paw pads. I've had many cats in my life (DSHs, Persian, Maine Coon, Angora) & she's the most talkative & sweetest of them all.

Me too!! Mine has white on his paws and a little on his neck. But looking 4 videos it has all the traits of a Russia blue. Except for the white part. Her mama abandoned him.

Love your cat as well but two words: LANDSCAPE MODE

Russian blue catws are irresistible beings, just as Thorughbred horses are. Both cannot be surpassed for aeshetic appeal. This video explains it all why we are so much attracted to cats in general and to Russian blue in particular.

When I first started my cat obsession I saw the Russian blue as a boring gray cat with a pair of green eyes and ever since I didn't bother to look at it anymore. But this video rlly changed my mind. The way it has like a triangle face and the beautiful bone structure. It looks so athletic and strong. And those emerald green eyes. It's something to die for. Definitely one of my favorite species now. I would love to adopt a Russian blue.

You know you may be right about the russian blue looks boring. His color. I'm thinking about getting one but I 2nd thoughts. I kinda listen to what you just commented on. Cause he might be a little boring looking. I will have to reconsider. I'm thinking about getting a Is siberian kitten. I don't know if I want all that hair. Definitely more money also. Now that's a beautiful cat!

I think there's a few different types of russian blues. This one has a narrow face and narrow body. I prefer the fuller face and chunkier body.

Makes me miss my russian blue. He was my best friend in the world. I actually loved him more than anyone besides my parents

Sebastian loves going outside but he’s not a huge fan of sitting in the backpack for long periods of time. He’s definitely interested in all the smells and noises though!

I've got one that walks in my place when when I'm cleaning the back yard, he says hello briefly, then l decides to follow me in, I let him wonder around for 10 minutes, then he leaves. I've offered him food before (which I shouldn't do) but he wasn't interested. At 1am in the morning (a few days ago) I came back home after visiting a friend, and found him curled up on my bed (I left my back door ajar by mistake), I had to put him outside though, it broke my heart, it's obvious someone else's cat though

Can I be honest with yall. I have been a dog person all my life. And still am. I actually hated cats for a long time..bad past experiences with them marking territory on my lawn with urine and feces (neighbor was an irresponsible cat lady that didn't clean up after her cats and took in strays). I've had cats climb on my cars and scratch my hood But at any rate cats are slowly coming around to me. Per my allergy test I'm allergic to cats and dogs although dogs never bothered me in the past. But everytime I'm around my brother in laws cat I sneeze. Fast forward to me finding out about hypoallergenic cat breeds and I saw this beauty. Social media is really aiding in me falling in love with Kittens and I can't believe I'm saying this. This cat is beautiful and I'd love to invest in getting a Russian blue . Someone please tell me the easiest way to Care for and potty train a cat. I am really afraid of having my house smell like cat pee and I don't wanna become noseblind to it. That's really my only fear at this point. The science shows how much stronger the ammonia is in cat urine compared to dogs. That's really my only fear at this point. Someone please ease my mind with factual info

Hey, I’m allergic to cats and have a Russian Blue cat. Even the smallest amount of saliva (which causes the allergies) can give you an allergy. Depending on how severe the symptoms are, you should look into it further. For me, I went to a breeder and played with the cats for a couple hours and saw my effects. It wasn’t drastic on me so I splurged in a Russian blue kitten. Everyone is different so you should check out it out.

@@mysterybat35 Cats are way easier to potty train than dogs, instinctively they'll want to use their litter box just make sure to clean it everyday because cats dont like doing their business in a dirty litter box. I just got a russian blue kitten 2 days ago hes 8 weeks old and uses the litter box just fine.

They go for $400-600. But it's nearly impossible to get one. I've tried for 1 month. Petsmart doesnt carry many and most adoption websites are scams

We named our purebred Russian Blue GiGi because she cost me $2 G's ..
