I'm c1-c2 and still don't use airroll, my friend is gc2-gc3 and also doesn't use airroll all the time (it's good to learn but just for corrections and looks flashy, but ure faster without spamming it all the time)😊

@@Nexus7231 actually that's untrue, it's not just for flashiness and corrections, using it can give much much more power on many shots and can also make not only recovering but speeding up your gameplay a million times better and the c1-c2 in you really shows with how low your knowledge is, the fact you say c1-2 proves you're just overestimating yourself with the c2

I love how he was hitting ceiling pinches in gold and then there's me at c1 with the plat "air dribble" as my most advanced mechanic

This is almost word for word how my journey has been, only it started in 2017 and I took a couple breaks spanning quite some time, now I’m back and sitting in champ one having the time of my life enjoying that I’m in a ranking that I wished upon being able to reach back when I began.

I've been playing for 2 years, hard stuck diamond at best... but played and beat champs, unranked i hit champ mmr but thats it... my journey is over but I LOVE THIS GAAAAME!!!! good luck on your journey bro you got this!!!!

I downloaded rocket league when it became free to play and didn’t touch it until 2022 by then my friends were already diamonds and I was pretty much forced to grind on my own just to keep up with them after a year were all champs me being C1 and them 2 being C3s. 👍 KZread videos and training packs go a long way

Yo man I was playing since when free to play was out and I’m champ 2. I guess bc u took a long break. A tip to get to champ: don’t rush everything and try to master the basics, shooting, aerials and maybe passing. Also practice and try to get better at recoveries. I wish you good luck on your journey to champ

I started the same time as u and took some breaks but in c2-3. Good job

woah, this is really similar to my journey, i lost interest in the game and left it in diamond 3 almost c1. Then i started to play again and watched so much theory about rotation and positioning, a lot of replays of pro matches and then started to play again, got c2 in less than 2 weeks but then my console kinda died. Left it for 1 year and now im playing again but with keyboard and mouse and learning, got c1 with ease because now it feels like diamond cause of the new ranks, didn't even knew how to fly and still won matches in 2v2. Now im still learning how to play with keyboard and mouse and trying to hit GC. positioning, defensiveness and rotations are really important guys, playing calmly and waiting for opportunity will make you win a lot of matches in lower ranks, dont just chase the ball and make important decisions. Oh and learn shadow defense, this will be useful in 2v2 as well as in 1v1.
