Thank you!!! I have done it twice before. but for some darn reason I wasn't feeling it that day. Funny you say that. I couldn't round up all the parts locally before our sand hollow trip. so virgil was able to in his town and now we are going to be fixing it up in sand hollow in the sand. lol Not enough time and too many things to wheel.... lol.

Heck yea man. I always wished there was someone who could of explained the ropes for me when I got into this. then I was like wait. maybe I need to do that for other. So here I am doing the best I can to do that.

I just had a electrical fire in my comanche. From running all 3 fans on one circuit😅😅 melted the fuse then the wiring. Luckily i saw the smoke quick enough and caught it.

@@WRECKEDGEAR it was the previous owners cheap thin single fused line. Too small gauge wire and small fuse. Fixed her up in no time!

When you said you broke, I thought oh know, wasn't expecting the electrical gremlin to bite you again. You may have to put a small fan in there to cool those bad boys. Thanks for the ride brother!

i used to have the same problem with my ford taurus fan killing 80 amp relays. they would last about 1 or 2 full days of wheeling. eventually they would over hear and die on me. I asked a guy who repairs starters and alternators what i should do and he sold me a 200amp continious duty solenoid for 50 bucks and 2 summers later its still running without an issue.

5:44 I lent a bunch of wiring and ends to Dustin on the trail for the same issue. We bypassed that relay and just let the fan run the rest of the day. Crazy it’s still doing that nonsense.

I've narrowed it down to its either too small of wire ran from the fan and the relay to handle the engine heat or the fan is just drawing too much because its old. The fan issue with this thing is real. but will be fixed... even if its the last thing I do lol.

The best option for relay is to buy them OEM at the junkyard. But I like to use a continuouse duty solenoid for the fan, try that.

I got some premium Feed wire and some gnarly OEM relays. WE are going to give that a try!. We will eventually get to the bottom of this issue lol.

@@WRECKEDGEAR Try the solenoid, I used to burn up to 2 relays per ride, I put a selenoid and never had the problem again. I also changed the wiring to one gauge above the recommended by the fan seller.
