My Review of the The Madison Hotel Washington, DC
The Madison Hotel is a recently renovated Marriott affiliated hotel in the heart of Washington, D.C., steps away from the White House, the National Mall, and the Smithsonian Museums. It is a boutique hotel with a modern feel, but it is also inspired by the White House living spaces of James and Dolley Madison. The hotel has 356 guest rooms and suites, all of which are spacious and well-appointed and some of the suites also have balconies with city views.

I'd honestly take a tiny, clean APA hotel room -- with tub, electric bidet, onsen, and other amenities -- over this room.
I’m a European; I mainly watch your videos for information on American destinations. Thank you for these helpful videos - they definitely help when preparing for a vacation! My next trip will either be to Boston, Chicago or Los Angeles in July. Still unsure. 😅😊
Great review, Chris! Beautiful hotel for a fair price! Bummer that there is no mini fridge to put any leftovers. Other than that, the place was very nice! Your videos kept me company today, while I put a ton of a Christmas decorations up. Happy New Year to you, OC GIRL, and the traveling/Spunky Princess! 😊🙏🏻

Hi Chris. Pretty nice room and I love the balcony. Great place to enjoy the view of the city and chill out. That sofa really is bad. It has to go. And no mini fridge for personal items is a no no for me. Too bad the lounge wasn't better that it was.Thanks for sharing and take care.

Thanks James! Yes. I think the balcony was the best part! This hotel has alot of promise.. they just need to get rid of the really worn stuff
The hotel looks pretty nice overall although I agree that they need to do a better job with keeping the rooms clean. I never sit on the sofas anyway, but that did not look pleasant to sit on.

Do they still have Madison and Jefferson role playing still, plus last time I stayed here we got bed bugs
That TV is too far from the bed! How could you see from that far?
I'm not a fan of Mariott in the US. Overseas is a different story! In the US, Marriott is a hit/miss. We don't know what to expect. Some don't give upgrades to elite members, some charge for parking whole others give elites free parking, some have great lounges while others are crap. It's just not consistent. I did get Titanium on my road trip last week. The things we do for status.😂

Other guest hairs in bathroom, red flag! The hotel seems to lack personality. Business client focused?
