@@sauravbane5635 Don't worry bro. Even 714kg is better. We need to change our mindset about road safety. We should focus more on to drive safely on road rather than driving safest car. Because safe car can save your life upto some extent but driving safely can fully avoid accidents.

Just completed my 5th trip from Pune to Jabalpur on Baleno Delta and also to indore and bhopal on old baleno (2021). Bought on 4th Nov 2021 and clocked 19600 kms in a Year and this year on Oct 24th 2022 bought another Baleno alpha. On my old baleno had done top speed of 170km/hr for a brief 30 secs and the car was pretty stable (Do not recommend this as this is just for my experience). Fuel economy in City was 19.5 per ltr and on highways it was 24. It was comfortable. This new baleno is just awesome. Just did another trip Jabalpur to Pune, it was non stop drive of 18hrs with 3 members onboard and the car was super comfortable and did not for min thought its leaving the grip and felt pretty heavy on confidence. Did do 130kms/hr and never felt unstable even for a min.. breaks are just great compared to old baleno. The bite of the breaks are on point. It returned 26km/ltr. Overtaking at high speeds are more fun and confidence inspiring. Music system needs no upgrade for me (coming from a man who loves listening to music as its a game changer, uplifts the mood and enhance the driving pleasure.) For safety, even if you are driving a ferrari, you will have be cautious of your environment. Anything can happen, we have to be paying attention all the time. Build quality has also improved, doors feel heavy.. do not go by what reviewers have to say, please experience it urself to make a verdict. I m not saying, its the best car but its not the least for sure. Its got decent power, torque is a little less but overall for indian conditions, its sufficient. If wanted to get performance and luxury and safety, please be ready to pay extra money to get all of that. At the end the best car is the one that you own.. its an emotion and not just a car is what i believe.

Poor milage

We saw a lot of cars and zeroed down to this new Baleno in May this year after a lot of contemplation. I am glad to say that we were more than happy with our decision when we went on a 6000 km road trip across 10 states (round trip from Delhi to Goa and back via another route). The points I still remember are:- It was the peak of summer and still the AC was so chilly that we had to keep it on 1 level only. The cabin is so silent that all our conversations while driving were recorded easily (we had video recorded the trip). The comfort level was awesome and even after 500 km per day on a daily basis and living in motels and hotels each night we never really got tired. The boot space is sooo much that we could pack in 3 weeks of stuff easily. The automatic does trouble you when overtaking on highways, coz automatic has its own brain it seems and takes time to shift gears, but it is a blessing in heavy traffic areas and never lets you get tired. The music system is quite good too although the voice assist woman start speaking without prompting at times. The hill assist is a real help on slopes, and even though the car lacks power, the hill assist keeps the automatic from slipping back on steep slopes. The mileage is awesome and we managed a maximum of 26 kmpl in certain stretches and an overall of 20 kmpl across the trip. Lastly, the looks are very good, specially when compared to the earlier Baleno (we have one in the same colour as you have). Overall, a highly recommended car if you want to be comfortable yet stylish. Totally satisfied till now and a memorable trip for a lifetime. Thanks Sumit for making me relive the memories before the year ends. 👍🏼🙏🏼🙃

@@krisindia As mentioned, we never had any complains with the AC, not then, and not even now after one year of using the car. I don't know which people have problems with it! Maybe they should get their BP checked in case they are suffering from high BP (coz such people feel hot all the time).

Full meaning of ESP and how it's works. Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) is a computerized safety technology present in most modern cars. It is designed to improve a vehicle’s stability by detecting and reducing loss of traction, thus preventing the tyres from skidding uncontrollably. When the stability control programme detects a loss of steering control, it automatically applies individual brakes to help ‘steer’ the vehicle where the driver intended it to go. So by using the term "ESP" You can't sure about the safety of vehicle, it must be fully satisfied the norms of GNCAP parameter of safety, in which build quality of vehicle also included with safety features.

Earlier this year my father got the new wagonR amt. That car has the same k12n engine as this baleno. Firstly I was not happy with his decision but as I drove the car for a few times, I slowly began to like it. City driving comfort is unmatched, tension free. Space and seat quality is very good. Engine is refined. Service cost is low. Maruti is popular among Middle class people like me because it doesn't drain money from your pocket after the purchase unlike Tata, Vw, skoda etc.

Sumit bhai: Anyday we respect ur decision and ur new car Although amaze was the best option in CVT petrol with excellent refinement performance all equally with Baleno Also giving Great safety Saying from a live accident of my own relatives in amaze CVT car was at 110 kmph single lane road and a truck tried to overtake and making no room for us in our lane itself so the car hit another small tempo and rolled twice at the side of the road Thankfully by the grace of God all 5 members including children and old parents were safe with small injuries

Correct sir i also using maruti baleno from last 5 years it is my best car wheather in terms of ride quality or average is unmatchable now we have harrier also but due to attachment and as a first car of my family we never sell our baleno i know its built quality is worst but than also we are happy with it in our local use

I bought my Baleno on 2016 & i completed 155k + km and still no sound on engine and great average I am getting. I am getting 17+ in city and 20+ on highwaya

People who praise Tata and build quality in that only 20-30% purchase Tata cars. Many go for Suzuki and Hyundai. I love Tata cars but if somebody asks best sedan Hyundai Verna above 4mtr and Maruti Suzuki Swift desire below 4mtr, best SUV Hyundai Creta above 4mtr and Maruti Suzuki breeza (2022) & Hyundai Venue below 4mtr.

My father in law driving tata Indica which is about to complete 15 years. If you maintain it well then it won't give you problems.

Not sure how it felt so planted for you. I drove my friends 2022 baleno alpha model and for some reason, it didn’t feel that planted. We were driving at 110kmph with 2 people including me and this car is not that stable at higher speeds because of the downward drag force which seems to lift the car from bottom due to less weight. Also, steering is not that responsive. However, this car is excellent for city purpose and beats all cars in its competition for mileage.

Sir, you could have taken Toyota Glanza S (2nd variant). It would have costed you a little more but Toyota is giving 3 years 100000 km of warranty. The design of the alloys is also better in Glanza and also the interior colors i.e. (black & biege) provided in glanza looks more luxurious and appealing than the interiors of Baleno. Also the after sales service is much better in Toyota.

Bhai anytime glanza over baleno. If you are good at negotiation glanza and baleno would cost you almost almost same with better warranty, service, reliability, brand name, looks, etc.

Glanza isn't popular as much as Baleno , Also Glanza is difficult to resale. Toyota service centre also charges way more than Suzuki's. Anyone going for a hatchback shud always choose maruti over anything
