My RENNtech AMG GT R is Now a 760hp MONSTER!
The new RENNtech turbos are in! That means my AMG GT R now has over 760hp with the R760 package, so what better than to take it straight away for a lap of the Nurburgring Nordschleife and an Autobahn blast back home.
After dropping the car off with RENNtech Europe at the Nurburgring, the work has been completed so it's time to head in to finish the removal of the stickers from Gumball 3000 and tidy up the glue residue before experiencing what it's like. In addition to the stage 1 updates, for stage 2 the turbos have had some work done to increase airflow and naturally add more horsepower to the top end.
The stock AMG GT R managed 585hp and 700nm, the stage 1 brought it up to 671hp and 797nm and now with the dyno charts we're up to 763hp and 808nm. This is officially the most powerful car I've ever owned it, and it's still my daily driver too!
With RENNtech being based by the Ring, nothing could be better than taking it immediately over for a lap right at the end of the day. With the circuit mostly empty but still rather wet and slippery, it's definitely a cautious stint but fun nonetheless.
The immediate observation is just how incredibly powerful the car is, emphasised even more during my run down the Autobahn to get back home. The mileage on the car is going to continue so I'll get more feel for what it's like to live with a car modified in this way.

If my AMG GT R wasn't already a true monster, then it is now! Thanks to RENNtech the car has now had upgraded turbos installed and reaches 760hp and 800nm. First stop picking it up is to go for a lap of the Nurburgring (even in the wet) and then blast down the Autobahns home, and honestly it's so fast it touches on being a bit scary...

The GTR has officially become a monster and a road slayer. I have officially become addicted to the exhaust sound and the way it provides the relentless power that was something else. Other KZreadrs like vehicle virgins would have made a two part boring video,the first video would be titled "making my AMG gtr 800bhp!!!!!" Which would be 10 minutes out of which 2 minutes would be an ad on vincero watches. The second video would be "taking my 800bhp AMG GTR to the nurburgring and witnessing a crash!!!!" Earlier I didn't think that Merc AMG gtr is that good but now after watching it in the video that too with this beautiful colour made me change my mind.I am in love with this car now.The autobahn drive is a treat too.😉👍

venom müller. The torque and bhp increases are not enough to beat the LT. Weight stripping is required to be in with a shout, notice how the LT murdered the SLR in shmee's drag race video with the Vantage, 4 car lengths as they crossed the line.....100 bhp increase will not bridge that gap.....Anyway we will see

@@TheXeffx High torque and high speed doesn't mean sht when you're car weights heavier even at more bhp the 675 LT smokes this AMG GT R. Go do some research on how heavy this AMG GT R is compared to 675 LT only when AMG GT R is above 1000 hp only then it's able to beat 675 LT as cars that weights more even at equal horsepower are actually much slower and this GT R needs at least 300+ more horsepower to match 675 LT's speed.

I mean that's a discussion you have on a case by case basis. For example if an interior button fails or the radar stops works, that's not exactly impacted by an engine modification. It takes sensible discussion as to what happened and what is the cause.

I'd imagine Mercedes would not cover any part that breaks that he has changed (or if he breaks something that is a part of the driveline), on the other hand I think Renntech may offer a warranty on their packages.

Amazing graphs! The power and torque figures look like they're from a normally aspirated motor. Between RENNtech and AMG thats and amazing accomplishment. Of all the cars you have this is my favorite. Not because of its brand or how exotic it is but because you tune it and drive it like I think all of us would. This is how you know he won’t be selling the GTR for a long time, He’s full sending it right after adding two new turbos on the ring in the rain. He loves the car so much he has no worries about being at the track like that
