We were so spoiled last week by Andrea at our cabana on Chill Island. She surprised us through out the day with fresh fruit, chocolate chip cookies, decadent brownies, and warm funnel cakes. The kids loved it!

Agree that the food is great at CocoCay. Our family was there for the 3 night Christmas cruise last month on Freedom. Simple, filling, tasty food. Thanks for sharing!

I know it's strange but my husband and I don't normally eat when we get off the ship at private Islands or truly anywhere… Not sure why we feel like that… But I know we would probably try the funnel cake.... if it's made right yes of course it's going to be loaded with calories but should not be greasy… Looking forward to trying that someday!! 😋

I wish they had seafood or more vegetarian protein options like tofu at all these places. Guess you can get that if you pay extra for the Coco Beach Club area.

Yeah, the vegetarian/vegan protein options are limited on the island. Even if the Windjammer is open that day, it will have limited options as well with the reduced crowds. CocoCay is a tough day for that.

Thank you for this video. You made a good effort to make the food sound good. The food on Coco Cay is a disappointment when compared to years ago when they had great ribs, among other offerings. I hope that RC gets back to the point where they have more than burgers and chicken on their private islands.

Thank you! I remember those ribs and the lamb lollipops at Labadee suite section!! They were the best part of the food! Been a bit since I shared this video and might redo soon. They continue to "evolve" the food options. Mainly, same items but the quality is dropping.

Funnel cake is a must I have gotten off in rain just for a funnel cake lol

Hey Robert, great question and one that stumped me and a few other cruise enthusiast 😂 We did pull the list of what restaurants are included with the Ultimate Dinning Package (UDP) but Captain Jack's is not one of the restaurants listed. And honestly, at $7.95 for 12 wings, I would save your money unless you just really love wings.

Thanks for sharing that you can get grilled chicken. Iv avoided going to the snack shake because I cant eat fried food. I love the idea of leaving the cookies in the sun, just dont leave them unattended because those darn birds will swool in and steal them! Does the drink package work at Captain Jacks?

Ha! You aren't kidding!!! This was one of my very first videos and even when I go back and watch them, the shaking has me rolling my eyes!! This topic is on the short list for me to update next time in CocoCay.

I keep hearing that if you order the chicken Sandwhich and mozzarella sticks and put the mozzy sticks on the sandwich that it’s literally the best thing ever supposedly.

Yup, you sure can! The soda and alcohol packages fully work at CocoCay. They do not have the Coco-Cola Freestyle machines on the island but the bars will be glad to serve you.

Hi are there any seafood options on the island?? If not I can’t believe they don’t ?! I’ve never be to a Caribbean or Bahamian island or excursion without been able to have some local seafood, who what’s burgers and hotdogs when your in the tropics?!

There are not any seafood options. The only place seafood is offered is at the CocoCay Beach Club. There you can get fish, lobster, and a few other items. The food items on CocoCay are provided by the ship and there are no local vendors.

I'm glad I saw this video. They're serving you your buffet food to keep you "safe", however, they don't have gloves on and there were a few not even wearing masks!??🤔.Oh yeah, sounds safe! Seriously?! "

Hey Amy, the venue is outdoors and none of the guest have mask on either. Nothing is 100% safe but I assure you it is "safer" than if all the guest were serving themselves.

None of the beach beds are too far away from the food. As long as you don't book the ones right at the entrance on the south side of Chill Island, you will be in good shape!

Hey Reva, I am not aware of a veggie burger but they do offer one veggie sandwich that is on the middle buffet island closest to the seating. Forgot the name of it!

It is the chicken sandwich with mozzarella sticks and tomato sauce. You will have to order it and let me know what you think!

I thought the secret menu item was one of those wink and nod, as in not really a secret. It is a crispy chicken with Cheese sticks and marinara. PS. If the grilled chicken is Not on the menu then isn’t that also a secret menu item?
