My Reaction - I'm A Drone Pilot And I'm Telling You That You Can't Fly Here
In this video I come accross a fantastic security guard who is happy to have a chat with me and tell me all about the company.
This conversation is followed by a conversation with a manager who claims to be a drone pilot. He tries to tell me that I have to have permission to fly over any land everywhere, this means that I can only fly in my back garden. What an idiot.
Then he says he is going to phone the police if I fly over his yard, even though it's uncontrolled airspace.

Discussions with foreigners about UK law is comedy gold.

The broken English (KNOW IT ALL) property owner needs to LEARN ENGLISH LAW.
He still doesn't see sense and needs educated in the laws and thankfully the last guy was so understanding
He is talking about GVC qualification where we have to have permission to use the qualification. It's a shame that he only seems to know about the GVC rules where permission is required. It is the only qualification that has this requirement built in as the rest don't have this and it doesn't affect hobby operators either.👍

He probably took his test before the drone classes were introduced. There's a lot of confusion about the classification of drones even in the US since it's a change and gives all power to the sub 250 drone which it wasn't like before. You could have probably clarified it with him that the change was made in the last 2 years.
