Must have add on’s I added to my new cart and LOVE 1). Self cancelling turn signals and added big LED lights around the cart and additional turn signal lights - big safety issue and LED l 2). Back up camera 3). Top of the line bucket seats with lumbar support. Sears move back and forward so no pedal extender needed 4). Matching roof color 5). Pearl metallic white body with turquoise pins tripping 6). Bose waterproof speakers 7. Wood dash with locking glove boxes 8). Overhead rack 9). Bottom window flips open so TONS OF BREEZE but no bugs in our face!!

Congratulations Gary. Great looking cart. So glad your happy with your decision. Your videos are a great help. We are much like you. Bought a house in Newell in March, haven’t moved in full time yet. Beginning of 2024 hopefully. But we have been researching carts for some time, and your videos have really helped.

Your right The Villages is not a place to own a electric golf cart the go anywhere from 45-70 miles and you know that’s not far if you want to take advantage of all The Villages have to offer. A friend of mine wanted me to move to Sun City, SC were he lived. It was a retirement community very small they had 3 golf courses but that was it no restaurants, shopping, gas stations if you drive around in your golf cart all you have to look at is homes. With no gas stations to get gas I bought a Club Car electric 55 miles is all it goes and only 19mph. I probably have the slowest cart in The Villages. So when I pay it off I will buy a gas cart for the 250 miles it will go. Right now i am limited on we’re I go. Congratulations on your new cart.

Congratulations on the new cart. I have the same cart, just navy blue and silver. We had a private individual install seat belts. Also purchased the window screen from a vendor at the craft fair at BrownWood.

We definitely don’t have trouble finding it in the parking lot.

It looks like your research has paid off and I'm sure you'll be happy but $14 grand could also buy a very-well-cared-for Miata that will also carry about the same amount of groceries or a set of clubs. Your posts are very enjoyable and informative so please keep posting!

I thought the same when I first heard of the prices but if you look at a brand new Yamaha they start over $10K without a lot of the extra’s you need to make it a year around transportation like in the rain etc.

Yes there are AC golf carts. Check out Atomic golf carts online.

I like the Cart, the colors scream Florida. Hopefully they did not hit you up for an extended warranty. The Grocery bag a good addition. There are many in Florida that go for rear seats for an extra couple for dinner, or grandchildren, but not worth the extra $$$.

They just go over your standard 5 year warranty that comes with the cart. They didn’t offer any extended warranty. Considered extra seats but decided to rent carts when I have company. More fun than riding around backwards.

Not really sure even though I tried a awful lot before I purchased. They all have to be waterproof so the feel is similar.

I did spend a lot of time but I had the time since I wasn’t really moving to the Villages right off. Plus it let me make some videos as the process went along.

The Villages is a 55+ community so you or your spouse should be 55.

Gary, I think your over thinking this just a little. With that being said stop being cheap, life is short your kids or who ever will get your inheritance will never miss the few thousand dollars that they probable didn't deserve. Just get a newer or brand new yamaha gas cart and go live your life. I guarantee it will out last you if properly maintained.

I love the new cart I got but I may get a second one in a few years if my wife joins a number of clubs as our schedules go in different directions as I like sports.

@@GaryAbbott Please add on seat belts. I used to work in an emergency room. I have seen the damage due to no seat belts. Or safety helmets on bikes. So very sad.

Seat belts are a must. Saw a guy get tossed out of his golf cart onto the road. Had to call 911 for him. Many similar stories in the news.
