My problems with Pentacon Six
In this episode we're gonna talk about what happened in the Fuji Pro 400H video

As you remember I was shooting medium format Pentacon Six and the first frame was cut in half and the last one was missing. So today I'm gonna explain you what went wrong, we will talk a little bit about Pentacon camera itself and we will try to find the answer is this cheap medium format is worth buying.

Przy zakładaniu filmu warto go "napiąć" tak jak w tym filmie o którym mówiłeś, powinno to zaradzić nierównemu nakładaniu klatek na filmie. Spójrz rowniez na stan futerału ponieważ mój rozleciał się na szwach przez co prawie aparat skończył na ziemi.

Ogólnie to w ogóle nie używam tego futerału :D czekam na ładniejszą pogodę i będę testował to zakładanie filmu
Я колись хотів її купити, але зрозумів, що це совковий треш типу «зеніта» або ФЕДів з вічними проблема, поломками і тд. Колись раніше, коли плівка була дешева, може й був сенс, але з нинішніми цінами на проявку/плівку/оптичний друк/скани ризикувати з радянською технікою сенсу нема особливого(окрім мабуть «практіки»). Плюс, можна ще й втратити цінні кадри

Yeah, it’s kind of a lottery unfortunately 😢 Maybe in 35mm format where you can use cheap BW film and develop it at home it makes some sense.

@@grainystories well, you can use cheap 120 fomapan, but 120 film at home is PITA(loading it into tank part). But still, i love cheap MF foma for my holga and lubitel 166. Works amazing, but not sure whether there’s much point to paying 200-300 usd(in ua, no idea how much it costs in pl) for pentacon six to shoot only cheap films with risk of killing some of your shots due to camera malfunction. Esp considering that you can just add few hundred dollars and buy something like bronica etrs

@@anonanon7822 prices are pretty much the same. I’m thinking about Erts or Mamiya 645 but well the reason for choosing Pentacon was 6x6 format. So for me other options are Kiev which gonna be another problem or Hasselblad which I can’t afford 😂

My pentacon making bigger and bigger spaces between frames next frame longer space .... ..its was isue not now..but 45+years ago too ..when it was new

Yeah those cameras have never been good so it’s probably insane to expect that after 40 years it’s gonna work fine 😅
