What a cool tour! So much work goes into these guitars, Paul and his team have a lot to be proud of for sure. They seem relentlessly dedicated to quality. Thanks again for another video Tom!

Tom, very well explained and presented, awesome video! Pretty neat that only one person does all the serial numbers. Pro tip for next time: Just leave your car running outside, grab anything you can, ask for the bathroom and run!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! That's a great tip lol! I think Paul himself might have tackled me if I had tried that. Talk about a compelling video then!

@S.Lang7 yes! There were some Private Stock electrics and acoustic I couldn’t film that looked absolutely amazing. Of course, anytime I saw a Silver Sky body or neck I smiled! Haha. My dream PRS is a McCarty with the stop-tail, wrap around bridge. I saw a couple of those at various stages of being built too.

Cool video. Schecter also has all import guitars shipped to their California factory for inspection and setup. Godin is another manufacturer with a very impressive factory, very high attention to details.

Im liking my PRS Mcarty 594 so nice to see it being made. Wish it was as good on the leg sitting down as a Strat but no others issues

Nothing compares to seated comfort like the S and T style body! Still love the 594, though. Such great guitars.

KZreadr demos a PRS SE and the comment section goes nuts. Oh, it’s only this good because PRS prepped that guitar before they shipped it to the KZreadr! Tom, thank you for confirming that this is the case! Not only for the KZreadr, but for all of us. This is the first time I heard this, did you know that before the factory tour? No wonder the SE line is so good if they check every SE and readjust if needed.

It was one of the many things I learned on the tour. Certainly not a perfect process, but even US-made Fender, Gibson, PRS, Martin, etc. occasionally have issues. The extra step for the SE line in MD definitely adds to the value, in my opinion.

Never saw your channel before. Can I make a suggestion? Front loading your video with a teaser about "something unexpected" is just tiring and played out, particularly when people have watched a lot of content and those teasers invariably turn out to be pretty mild. We already clicked. Don't after-click bait your audience. A surprise is only a surprise when you don't mention it.

  • @TomButwin

Appreciate the suggestion. Unfortunately, we “KZreadrs” have to try everything to retain attention…otherwise, we have a very slim chance of people seeing our video (even those who have subscribed). Click-bait, to me, is a promise that’s not delivered on. I was surprised at what I didn’t see on the tour. That’s what I mentioned. Is it a device to maybe retain a viewer? 100% Again, and unfortunately, simply making a good video isn’t enough with a channel as small as mine. I really appreciate you watching and commenting. That’s hugely helpful. I hope to get to a point someday on here where I can be less concerned with the “algorithm” and more concerned with just putting out content I like and think others would enjoy too. It’s a delicate balance.
