I know the joke she was trying to tell. Let me tell y'all: Basically there were three men selling apple, bread and yam outside a church. Church closed and people started pouring out. The sellers now started to think of marketing strategies that would appeal to the church folk. The bread seller had a light bulb moment and started shouting, "buy your bread, buy your bread; the bread of life". People rushed his stall and he almost sold out. The Apple seller took a cue and shouted right after, " buy your apple, buy your apple; the apple of God's eye". The people rushed his stall as well. Now the yam seller was stumped but determined to sell his yam there thought and thought and at the last moment came up with a brilliant one and shouted himself, "buy your yam, buy your yam; I yam that I yam". Brilliant Leyla. I actually like that joke.
