7:33 This is why I hate QuickMane and enjoyed watching a CUB tare out his eye. If you watch a video of a no-mane (or no-mad as they call it) killing the offspring that isn’t his, you will notice it’s quick and swift. The male does NOT waste time mucking the cubs and causing more pain than death. As for THIS asshole, he taunt and muck spark and the female cub (I’m not saying her huntress name in case you happen to be reading this and you haven’t seen the next episode yet) and instead of making it quick for the cubs’ sake, he makes sure to take his time and makes sure their final moments are complete despair. Looking back at it I think I understand (not support) the reason why PowerStrike was so obssesed with Nothing -She was a female, that alone meant if she survived to adulthood she would allways be by her side as a part of the pride -she was her first born daughter and the only female of the litter. So of all of the litter she was the only one that was supposed to allways be by her side -she seemed to be strong willed and promising. She was supposed to be the one child that would be allways by her side and be a source of pride, love and support for her entire life. The moment her precious golden child was injured she could no longer fulfil this role. Now she was only a reminder of what she could have been and the mess they got instead. I guess I understand how a dissapointment like that could fester and last her entire life, these things tend to. The best thing to do was allways to put up boundaries and space between the two

The art styles are similar, there are many animations out there with lions in them and they have different art styles. Whilst this isn’t an exact copy of the Lion King art style by any means it does seem to draw some minor inspirations from it resulting in a semi-familiar appearance.

This is amazing! When I was younger I watched this- having respect for the warnings (thank god I had no problems with what they warned about), I watched this episode and went ‘Ugh this is just pictures!’ And left it at that. I resent Lu found a warriors map that reminded me of this- so I looked and looked and then found it- i now realize how amazing this is- the effort in detail and the amount of animation for a single artist, I and now truest exited to watch this series thanks to that one warriors mao that was sent to me by a friend

Edit 2: This video was actually one of the best bday gifts I got! I didn’t get many things that I wanted, mostly just sketchbooks and flamingo related items... (I like flamingos, but just between you and me, puffins are better... I just want money to buy games lol) I have too many sketchbooks and flamingo items already. (SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 10 AHEAD) Oooh the foreshadowing! Nothing wanted to play mane vs no-mane with Fire in this episode, but Fire said no saying that she’s too weak. Flash forward to episode 10, and Nothing challenges Fire as though she were a no-mane, but Fire once again calls her weak. Just some fantastic writing here
