That's some nice Bulls
Hey flats daddy inshore Jesus, I'm gonna try to save for a year or so so I can book ya. I'd like to get on your boat and actually catch fish for a change lol
Good information. Great reds!
Hey C.A.. You slipped up and said you would definitely want a 6'6" ft rod for open water. Easy slip. Not sure if you can edit it. I pay attention to every word you say. Lol. That's why your such a great mentor.

Appreciate ya
I run 7ft. Medium split grip star rod with a FFP Osprey 4000 spooled with 20lb super slick and 30lb fc leader for all redfish unless I’m targeting specifically alpha bulls in deep water. In my area, best results with reds are troll motoring parallel to the beach 30-40 yards off shore and sight casting live pins and cigar minnows into the wave breaks atop their heads and the above is about as perfect for this as I’ve ever put together. Heavier braid/leader allows me to pressure bigger fish as they attempt to run for beyond the bar. Have had to redirect the trolling motor a few times the past couple years but the gear held up to 20-30lb fish otherwise. Captain, I do have a content request for you and it’s “boat fishing alone”, which is what I do most often. Niche audience but under the radar, it really does effect how you fish in terms of style, setups, rigging, etc. Not to mention it’s been a solid/successful learning process for me but I’m very certain that both I and a fair amount of other viewers could take some expert tips on how to maximize efficiency/success when all boating and fishing activity from start to finish is handled solo, love the channel, cheers!
Here to learn…. But can’t help but think I’m watching and listening to Sean Connery! 😂
Me: 7ft medium/heavy lews custom xp with a 2000 size reel lol.. idk if it'll do but I'm gonna try!
7' g.loomis, med-hvy and a calcutta 400 Might seem much but we grow them big.
I like having “technique specific” setups/combos. Coming from tournament bass fishing over to the inshore side, I find it helpful to limit the amount of tackle in the boat or when wade fishing by having 2-3 setups specifically geared to what I’m throwing, based on conditions.
CA How are you retrieving your spoon?

Just a straight crank 90% of the time making sure to have bottom contact
40lb braid to 40lb fluro leader lol.. im bad at this
Do you ever throw a spoon on a baitcaster?

Absolutely I do… but do a number of videos on spinning gear because the majority of inshore fishing is done with spinning
