It's the kind of occasion where a little black dress simply won't do.

You look more magnificent than the painting. Such a beautiful dress. Such a piece of art. You are so gifted, I am amazed every time I watch your videos and cannot get enough of them. My dream Pre-Raphaelite dress has got to be Jane Morris' Blue Silk Dress. She made it herself for Rossetti to paint her portrait. If only I could afford the quantity of shot silk taffeta it would need! One day 💚

Incredible work. Precision, taste and elegance. This dress on you is just perfect. Could be the blue matching your skin tone, the laces on the front showing your awesome curves or the embroidery. I love this Dress! I am an Artist and A sewer and you brought both my loves to life. The Pre-Raphaelite movement and historic dress making together! Thank you. Your embroidery was lovely and a teachable moment! And you inspire women who have been gifted with larger chests not to be afraid to make the dresses of their dreams. Because you can look good in them! Because YOU DO!

I love a good embroidery project, but Oh My! I think that was my favorite part of the whole BEAUTIFUL project!

Oh my gosh all those itty bitty hollow gold thread beads!!! Very clever! And painstaking!

You are Ophelia. Soooooo beautiful 🤩. This dress should be on display.

One of my favourite paintings and your dress was beautiful. I especially loved the embroidery. Also, your cat is the most majestic floof! Godspeed by Edmund Blair Leighton is probably my favourite; there's just something simple but beautiful about that dress.

So stunning!!! I love every single detail about it.

Wegie was not only offering moral support, he was fulfilling his duty of getting as much cat hair on your costume as possible. He does not shirk his duties! Beautiful costume, and dare I say, you are more beautiful than Waterhouse's Ophelia!

Wow! Thank you for such a lovely video. My favorite parts were, the Halloween cat (year round fun), requesting assistance with the eyelets, and I was so relieved when you chose the other man in your life to help with the finger braiding. This certainly is a dream dress. You showed such perseverance throughout all those many intricate steps. EDIT: Back to add that I was amazed when I saw you cut those beads from the thread. Jaw dropping detail! I'm glad you had fun with the embroidery.

My mum had a big print of J.W.Waterhouses' Circe Invidiosa in the living room when I was a kid , and I've maintained a strong love for that romanticised image of the medieval era ever since. So seeing this video in my suggested tab was an immediate click! This is spectacular, absolutely amazing. The quality of the work, I can't even imagine the amount of time it all took (I haven't watched fully, maybe it's mentioned :D). That embroidery is absolutely to die for, and I peeked the reveal and OH LAWD it's *beautiful* and so are you! On a side note, your sewing machine is an absolute dream! I learned to sew on one just like it that my grand had, except that it didn't have all the ornaments and decorative element yours has. It's so cool!!
