That happened to me years ago. Now I purge fruit in the early stages. I’ll never fail to purge ever again. Start stripping now and you might save it.

I support the branches when they get heavy. May i know where you are located? Your tree is loaded. What kind is that loaded one?

nothing bad has happened, your tree will not die do not worry. new branches will come. next time do not thin but use support beams specifically made for your tree hight. I know a lot of gardening stuff so you just lost some fruit this season

Thanks for the pep talk! I needed it for sure. I was devastated when I drove up and saw it.

Thin the tree next time brother and just add support to keep those branches upright. That will help hold up all the weight of the fruit.

Are you not gonna put something under the branches to support them?

I put something underneath the other ones. But I suppose I am just a rookie Gardner and just messed up

You need to give support to the plant And prune it after the yield is taken.

@@PeterGriffin-fk7bd I tried the supposed green gage that turns red when it turned yellow and it tasted bad. lol. I am saying Home Depot sold me green gage but I got a red pointy plum. It is for sure good when it is red though. The Ruby sweet was better last year when it had less plums on it.
