Your “unhealthy” monstera looks better than when my monstera was at its healthiest! Now I just have a stem and Imm trying to not let it die

Hi, i have things to say: 1- Filtered water is not nécessary. Just let the chlore evaporate for an hour or two. 2- monsteras are philodendrons, make sure that the soil is made of 50% peat, 40% indoor plants soil, 10% perlite. 3- spraying the leafs add fine layer of wax or similar thing, not really the beast.

Tap water was killing mine. I got a TDS tester that came with my Zero water pitcher. Letting tap water sit stayed the same even after a week. Filtered water and rain water is all I use now.

i always cut after the node so that the new plant can grow out of the node you left :) below the node for propagations.

So I have a question when you repot it you don’t add water to the new soil?

I swear if my plant dies from being in direct water I’m gonna cry :(

Wait, how is putting it in a vase not over-watering it?
