Alla, your garden is lovely but you look exhausted. Sleep in and play with Cherie down by the lake awhile. Your health is your #1 priority.

Hello again, It’s Grandma K. Man the new plants are my favorites. I got an Peter Pan agapanthus, a kind of dwarf variety, many years ago and planted it a much larger pot because it was so root bound, it was so happy on the large balcony (east location). But it got hot sun all summer in our 100 to 110 to even 115 degrees Fahrenheit in Southern California summers (40 to easily 46 degrees C ). The agapanthus will give you the most amazingly amount of beautiful blossoms when root bound. I kept it in the same container for over 10 yrs and it gave me about 40 blossoms at any time during its season. I feed all my plants with a 1/2 solution once a month but i gardened with over 100 pots and bowls. One time my son counted as he watered them and wait there were 167 plants (including any starts of this and that which I gifted quite often when someone visited me or I visited them. I saw your beautiful dog chewing on I couldn’t tell, chewing and swallowing it and became concerned when I saw the Oleander because they are poisonous, please keep the leaf and flower growth well above her. Your home will be so beautiful with all that you’re collecting from all the Charity/Antique shops. Your Sweet Sergi has got so much more brave, as you also have in all this DIY. I’m glad you’ve been able to hire out some of the jobs. That’s a blessing to know everything is correctly safe :) Please continue to have fun as you DIY your house in making it a home. Hey, did the shade climbing hydrangea ever blossom? I haven’t seen it quite a while.also did I see a Portulaca(or Rose Moss). In the new plants. They too love hot sun. They would be great flower for the summer on the top terrace with the lavender and rosemary. Rosemary has to be controlled in its growth or you will have too big a plant. Cut them back every year - even now is good, in the green stems. Cutting back to the woody section will stop growth on that d stem. Ok I know I always say a lot, I’m sorry. I just wish we could talk because I know we would enjoy each others very much with lots of laughter. Lots of love and admiration to you both. Katherine Woodstock, Georgia USA 🇺🇸

Your white tree is a crepe myrtle tree. I love them but they get really big over the years. I wouldn’t plant it too close to the rock wall! Awesome garden! Looking good! ❤❤❤

The Crepe Myrtle is quite popular in the Southern US. White and pink aren't the only colors. Try violet, purple, red and watermelon. They're hard to kill as long as the roots have room. They grow prolifically. Don't be afraid to prune it hard when it gets too gangly. We call it hat-racking. The stems are cut back to the lowest "Y".

Climate is everything. In southern Australia Agapanthus escaped gardens and is a declared weed in many places. Its everywhere. No hard winter to control it.

That new tree is so mature and huge. It will be a fine addition. And now your pond will also take off. The green wallpaper in the first room you were standing in, the color is so much like your Ape. However did that happen? Also, the white flowers on the green/yellow paper remind me of the blue room mural. Did you get your hug back? ❤️
