Thanks for the tip but it still didn't help me. When I went to settings, the call,alarm and ring volume were all the way up but I still didn't hear anything.

Thanks for the tips mate .I also found out that the volume from setting was turned off . But do you have any idea how on earth my setting changed without my touch..!? I see that also other people experienced that odd situation.. Could our phone be manipulated from outside..!? That is a real concern now..!

Our phones are all made in China. They hate the outside world and want to rule and takeover all countries. I try not to buy from China, unfortunately my "free-has-constant-demons- phone" is "Made In China". Henceforth it doesn't work right. 😡

I can adjust the ringer problem as you discussed, HOWEVER, my ringer volume will at random and with no input from me go to 0 and subsequently the phone will not ring. The other volumes stay where they are set???????

so was mine set on Do not disturb and called myself from my landline phone and it still did not ring. This is the most importanat part of a mobile phone and Google should make sure that nothing should interfere with a phones ring. Sone one told me to do a soft reset....what??? It should automatically be left alone and do its job of ringing.

My phone is a VDF730 and is in not in "No disturb mode", in in normal mode, i've set all the volumes up, and while I'm settings the volumes up, it rings to show me the volume level. But when someone calls, it still doesn't ring. It just vibrates if i've left vibration on. I think my phone's got demons. 😅

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately it did not help me with my phone. In my case, I found the Ring Volume setting at about 25% but heard no ring tone when I received a call. I had already verified that Airplane and Do Not Disturb modes were turned off. So, I decided to try setting the ring volume to zero but when when I tried to move the slider, it would not go to zero. After moving the slider back and forth several times, it finally went to zero. After that, I set the slider to about 75% and the ringer worked normally again.

My LG Stylo 6 is not ringing nor am I able to receive calls. I have been told by friends/family that when they call it goes straight to the voicemail. Before that started, I was not able to make an outgoing call w/o it bumping off instantly. No ring just disconnects as soon as I place a call. I did some steps I learned on the net and I am able to dial out, but still having problems with receiving calls. Can you tell me step by step how to fix this before I buy another phone please let me know if I have to turn off my WI-FI and only use my data or keep both on. I truly would appreciate your help.

I ain't that stupid, that is not my problem dude, the VOLUME IS UP OK, but if I call out to someone there is no ring tone, at all, it shows that's it's calling, but the phone hangs up on its own. No one can call me, when they do they say my phone goes to voicemail. Now tell me some thing, what do I do for that? But if I hit the Do not disturb button by mistake, what do I do to get it the volume turned back on?

The same thing happen with me. I sleep with my phone flight mode on and after waking up the next day when someone call I can't hear their voice. I can hear their voice only after restarting my phone. But if I don't put my phone on flight mode then next day, this problem won't happen. 😢

What if your phone only has ringtone, media, notifications, and system options?

I have my Z Flip phone and I have it hook up Bluetooth to my portable speaker I can hear you-tube videos just fine I hear my Phone through speaker when I get Notifications But... when I get A Call It doest go through Speaker only Can talk Through my Phone reg not through Bluetooth using Potable Speaker!

Have issue with Samsung a20 not ringing for incoming calls. Keep turning up ring volume then buy the Time I do the test call the volume automatically goes back down on its own. Can't get vibration to work either. Any helpful solutions anyone please?

This happened to my phone, on checking it was on DND....grrrrr. Should be some alarm or alert that it is on DND. I don't remember putting it on this setting.
