MY PHILIPPINES COCONUT BUSINESS IDEA? Did Not Expect This! (BecomingFilipino)

MY PHILIPPINES COCONUT BUSINESS? Well, not quite! But I did have a brilliant... or funny idea!
On this day, I wake up in Prosperidad, Agusan Del Sur, and head towards Surigao. First, I find myself at a great coffee shop in Bayugan City. Then the rain hits... and I battle with my motor to keep driving! At a sudden stop along the road, I find myself learning all about a unique coconut fiber business! I had no clue this existed! Something I really didn't expect to come across on this day driving across Mindanao.
After rain and coconuts, I end up in Cabadbaran City. This city along the ocean in Agusan Del Norte is laid back and very homey. I find a great restaurant, and enjoy a healthy and delicious meal!
Another day on the road in Mindanao. I am headed north with my motor...
POWER ON!

The coco coir are woven to usee in soil conservation to lessen slides and coco peat is used for compost mix or spread over the land to neutralize the soil for planting. The husk are also sometimes use as planting medium for arboreal plants.

That's coco peat. I love using it as a soil medium when seedling vegetables. I mixed it with loam soil 50/50, when seedling eggplants, tomatoes, chilli's etc. I use purley coco peat for vine type vegetables like Ampalaya and cucumbers.

Coco peat = mulch = planting medium “Coco peat can be directly incorporated into the garden soil to improve water retention, aeration and decrease the risk of the soil fungus and root diseases. Mix in soil at 25/75 ratio. It can also be used as a mulch around garden plants to help the soil retain moisture and prevent weed growth.”

Ah so that is how Coco Peat is produced. Coco Peat is a pretty versatile material because not only is it used as a substrate for plants, it is so useful for people like myself who keep exotic critters as a hobby(the exotic critters in question being captive-bred and sourced from reputable breeders of course) as a lot of these critters like substrate to dig in, like in the case of burrowing tarantulas. Coco Peat is also used as part of the substrate mix for terrariums as well. Kudos to the guys who produce Coco Peat as their products since Coco Peat is an integral part of the hobby of keeping plants and/or exotic critters.

The coco fiber turned into ropes then tied to a bamboo or pvc pole is used for climber plants, like Photos plants or some call it Devil's Ivy. Great for indoor ornamental plants. Also the coco fiber can be use as a mulch. A ground cover and conditioner to prevent or slows down the weeds from growing.
