The sadness I felt was from the helplessness of the mantis. It reminded me of my grandma before she died: helpless.

You gave Kiwi such a beautiful, strong, and long life. It’s thanks to you she was able to lay 6 eggs. Kiwi is very lucky to have you as an owner.

누구한텐 아무상관 없는 일이지만 동물이나 벌레를 키우는 자기자긴이 만약 자기의 엄청난 실수로 결국 죽었으면 슬플껍니다. 곤충이나,벌레를 를 4개월 정도 키웠던 저도 밤에 에어컨을 21도로 틀어 결국 죽었습니다 ㅠㅠ

You showed more love to a mantis in 7 months than some people have shown their children in an entire lifetime. You cared for Kiwi SO WELL that you extended its life span by an entire month. I don't think my religion consider this creature to have a soul, and I am kinda sad for It.

This is so sad. I never thought I would ever mourn the death of an insect but this actually hurts. She was different and there was a real connection between you that could easily be seen and even felt. She definitely was a well taken care of if not all together spoiled Mantis and she had a great life thanks too you. So sorry for your loss and God bless.

I get squeamish with insects, but this was very different and agreed. I legit had some tears watching this, especially back to back with the first video when Kiwi was caught. Beautiful story, indeed!

This made me cry. That last bit with the egg and "when the warm spring comes, let's meet again then" was so touching. I just cried over the passing of an insect. But not just any insect. This was Kiwi. If I had never watched your videos I would never have realized the small nuances of personality these creatures are capable of. Thank you.

I'm a 60 year old man sobbing like a child. It wasn't just a Mantis it was Kiwi a beloved Mantis that was loved and admired by many. With all the Mantises in the world there will never be another Kiwi. Her life was unique where he was cared for by a Human who had the most respect for Kiwi's life. The gentle caressing and feedings by that kind man who loved her brought me to tears. Sorry for the passing of Kiwi but now her babies will go on to live a wonderful life just as she did. Thank you for sharing your journey with your beloved Kiwi.

왜 눈물이 흐르는지.. 저 작은 곤충을 보면서 인생을 내다보는 것 같습니다 이별하기 매우 힘드셨을텐데, 좋은 영상 공유해주셔서 감사합니다

사마귀란 혐오스러운 곤충이라고만 생각했는데 돼라님과 키위를 보고 생각이 바뀌었습니다. 몇번을 봐도 눈물이 나오는건 왜인지 모르겠지만 생명의 숭고함과 그 생명이 꺼져갈때 보이는 현상들이 인간사와 별반 다르지 않다고 느껴집니다. 최선을 다한 돼라님과 힘껏 살아준 키위에게 응원을 보냅니다.

This is an eye opener for me and never thought an insect can stir up such deep emotions. It’s so beautiful seeing how the kiwi bonds with you 😢. You have so much respect and love for kiwi and this alone can change people’s mindset about these tiny and delicate creatures. I couldn’t control my tears 😢. Thanks for sharing!

Well she lived long compared to most praying mantises which can live up to 4 month in nature So don't be too sad

Kiwi has lived the best life she could possibly live with you. That in itself is a blessing. It's sad that she's gone but when we remember her long into the future and think of the good memories we had with her, it'll be worth it. May she live on in Mantis Paradise.

This is the first time I cry over a dead insect, but Kiwi was probably, the funniest and cutest Mantis I've ever seen, I'm literally crying my eyes out...rest in peace Kiwi and I hope her babies grow well...

Never before have I felt so moved by the story of a praying mantis. I'm STILL crying. Very touching how you attached one of her eggs to the tree above her grave. I can't wait for the story of her children!!!

Kiwi.. she was the one who brought me entirely to this channel, closely following updates of her. Then she met Wiki and laid eggs, and I was happy, very happy. Then she started slowing down and her eyes became grey.. We are all so happy that she made it to 2022 and I am genuinely upset that she passed. Mantises weren't really one of my favourite bugs to take care of, but after I saw Kiwi's and your friendship, if warmed me inside. Mantises, I found out, fascinate me, same with bees, like the carpenter bee you took care of. You encouraged me to explore my interests further, and I found out bugs amaze me. Thank you, and may Kiwi rest in peace.
