It amazes me how an aroma is deeply attached to a specific memory that I didn't know it was there A few weeks ago I went to my local mall and I smelled a perfume that I hadn't smelled in years. dior Fahrenheit (my father's signature scent) as soon as the notes got to my brain I started having many flash backs about my father I just got kind of paralyzed for a few seconds remembering him.

Imagine being connected to your materials this much. And then imagine those materials snatched from you. I can resonate with your emotions so bad! I had not much but just six luxury fragrances that were really big purchases for me, and someone stole them. Ran away with them. Of course they ran away with more than just the perfumes but the loss of my perfumes hit hard. Lols. Idk if I'm making sense. So now I just have that guerlain shalimar, which is new and I connect my new beginning with it, and the One by Dolce and Gabbana which is reminiscent of the time when all my stuff was stolen.

We Indians are sentimental, and yes a fragrance does brings out a connection with a certain person. I got the love for perfumes from my Mom's side, smell of Motia reminds me of my NanaJi still after so many years I somehow recall that aroma and Coty's Aspen was signature scent of One my Mamaji. I had 7. One of my Mamaji was ayurvedic doctor in Lucknow. His home use to smell so amazing, rose, jasmine, Chameli like a garden. And yes my mother still uses Mysore Sandal soap, first it was Moti soap. I can go on but yes, fragrances always leave memories. Trust is really hard to come, I follow quite a few reviewers. But you I consider a Guide and surely a "Guru". Thank You. Sorry for all this brambling.👍

Beautiful and admirable video Brother. Out of all the reviewers you really portray your personal passion for Fragrances and Attars and they remind me too of my Indian Background. Your the only other person I’ve seen who has a special significance and attachment to Issey Miyake, I personally cannot wear it anymore, because it’s the fragrance my brother who passed away in 2017 use to wear, so it’s very special... Words cannot say how much you’ve taught me about Attars and the quality and how special they are not just to wear as a scent, but to collect. Thank you respectfully Nikhil Bhai🙋🏻♂️🇺🇸

You are doing a great job Dr. Nikhil in both enlightening us as well as giving great information on perfumes.. I loved perfumes, but it was you who showed me wats fragrance and wat to buy and wats ingredients and how they r made. We really respect ur passion for perfumes.. I just want to say , you post more videos on your Perfume Guru India channel and more about our Indian perfumes, etc.. but it would be very helpful if u try adding English subtitles, so that people like me or others from our country but dont speak or understand hindi can benefit from it.. I watch ur channel but I can't get the whole essence of wat u say and cant understand completely.. I really request you to help your viewers from Tamil nadu and other non hindi speaking people of our country who knows wat these perfumes are but cant understand the content fully.. this is my only request Dr. Nikhil. My God, the reactions!), CHANEL Pour Monsieur (marriage and beyond), Herrera For Men, Burberry Brit(started to hoard this), CHANEL Pour Monsieur EDP, CHANEL Allure Sport Ext.(journey commenced at age 50. After this purchase I looked it up on utoob see if there was any info back in early 2016, well, you know the rest! According to Jeremy F., I happened to pick a winner). CAHSEE has always been just a LIKE for me... Hawas!.. now ur talkin’ mate! These days, I’m just wearing, not buying. Vetiver Geranium is my ONLYCreed bottle, just started to get to know it and WOW, what a stunner, the dry down and performance!
Best video ever. So much emotional video. Your expressions made me sad. Took me in the past with you. I was watching this video while taking my dinner and forgot to eat really. Love this video.
It is such a pleasure to listen to your journey seriously you are master of words 😊
It's so relatable that my first fragrance was Leau d'issey pour Homme by Issey Miyake ...it was also gifted to me and is a vintage version!!! Brings back memories for sure!!! Thanks for the video
Thank you, Nikhil, sending you love❤️ You’re a very special being, I feel blessed listening to you..

We love you for your harsh, negative criticisms. Its rare and refreshing.
I had a Adolfo Dominguez -vetiver I just loved it
We all have been showered with your feelings emotions and attachment associated with fragrances, completely spellbound. Of the fragrance, by the fragrance. For the fragrance.
beautiful stories Nikhil! Perfumes definitely trigger emotions thus creating memories that we carry on with us for a long time. I also loooove Aventus :)
I used to be a follower of Chris McMahon's (White Lotus Aromatics) blog since nearly twenty years. That's when I first heard about the perfume industry in Kannauj. We often discover many aspects of our culture from foreigners :) I enjoy watching your videos as much as enjoyed reading McMahon's articles about attars and essences of Kannauj. Great channel. Keep up the good work.
Congrats!
Nikhil Bhai... This video is very emotional and touchy video.... It feels Really awesome to see you all the time...
Humbled to get to know you more Nikhil Bhai... You are right when you say we're all are connected above caste, creed above and beyond that.... all thanks to you... I strongly believe fragrances hold the power to make you time travel.. All you need is that single sniff and you travel back the nostalgic lane of memories... Absolute love and respect back at you!!
We also thankyou.🙏..You deserve....👍
I love your videos Nikhil bhai. I learnt so much about the origin of perfumes from our own Indian legacy.
Sir first time I have seen you being so emotional.. Cant see you in this way.. Cheer up Sir..
Thank you for this video, Nikhil sir!
Thanks for sharing your journey :)
Enjoyed your video. I am glad to observe that you are a true representative of India - India is a symbol of multi cultures, multi languages, multi religions, multi cuisine.. Actually it is its best strength and beauty. You represent this wonderful country .. I have migrated to other country for economic betterment but my heart still is at Cauvery bed in South India, where I was born and grew up..
Lovliest of all your videos
wow! Why did this end. Wanted to know much more. So interesting and nostalgic at the same time. 😋 Please make a video on your though process while buying a perfume.
please post some more on this channel Nikhil! there is no other with a perfect blend of emotion, intelligence, softness and knowledge while still remaining perfectly natural in the perfume youtube here, please don't forget about us your international fans! Love and respect and thank you for your content!
Nothing was fancy yet precious

A very deep & heart touching talk💖👍. Want to know more about you 😊✌
Hi, Thank you for sharing this video. Even I started with various Jovan Musks then moved to Davidoff Coolwater and Issey Miyake. It felt like you have shred my journey. Please make one video of good perfume shops in Dubai and also how to check originality of perfumes.
Great video. I subbed. More vintage old reviews would be great
Nikhil bro, u r always special and moments u brought up makes to feel much love & personality which grown in u along fragrance..
Jitni mohabbat se apne apni baatein sunayi hain utnee hee mohabbat se maine suni hai. God bless you bro
A great video indeed. Keep up the good work Bhai. You've come so far. I've seen your name in the contribution for the composition of an Areej-Le-Dore fragrance. I forgot the name. But that's big Bhai. All the best for the future ❤️
Would love to hear more about your personal life , native place etc hope u will upload a new video soon as now u hv crossed 100 k subscribers.
i am your biggest Pakistani fan. i really feel honesty and passion in every word of yours and can relate to you in so many ways. its very hard to find reviewers on youtube who make content not for the number of clicks or subscribers ($$$) but to share the love and passion of theirs. you are my inspiration for love of parfumes and i have learnt so much from your videos. keep up the good work .
Nikhil sir really inspirational and emotional turmoil video❤
Most of us, will agree 💯 percent with your feedback and feelings,, be well Nikhil 💦👌🎩🌷
I love Jovan musk and Azzaro pour homme. Also try Kouros and Lapidus pour homme. If you want a higher quality Jovan musk type
Yesss Jovan musk it's very beautiful musk. I bought 3rd bottle of of it. U r awesome bro..
Nikhil. Wish you good health and wellbeing. God Bless.. ❤
Beautiful Journey ❤🔥
Oh....Dear Dr.Nikhil you made my eyes go wet when you talked about these nostalgic fragrances,it reminds me of my dad whom I miss so much, because of him we brothers started loving perfumes and royal Enfield bullet and Jawa bikes, it's wonderful memories, my first perfume back in 80s,90s was Charlie gold and Jovan white musk and for wedding I go the One Man Show awesome days, being a creative person myself I can clearly understand your Love for art and Photography, you are my finding of this year.love to share more, but not here.very touching video I titled it Scent of Life.

Hey Nikhil, You are a nice person. Live Long and be Happy....:)
Wonderful
The first ever perfume i used is jovan musk which was gifted by my brother in law (sister's husband) before that i used only attars of locals and then my passion for perfumes and attars grow and growing yet...
Watched and thoroughly enjoyed. In a nutshell, sir... Old Spice (high school), Pierre Cardin (University. May like this better than my recent Coromandel, maybe...Much Aloha, Nikhil ! Cheers.
Great video bhaiyya...
