I display gifts from my family and friends as decor too. So everyday l remember them. Adding sentimental items will make your apartment feel like a home for you. You then have stories to tell about your home. I'd like to suggest in the purchase of a large rug and a round coffee table for your lounge area. It will bring comfort and practicality too. Enjoy your home!

I 100% agree! Unfortunately a coffee table would block the kitchen door but I think you are right about the rug, I have been thinking about it too! Any suggestions regarding its shape and colour?

​​@@JosianeZhang Have you considered a pair of nesting tables which take up less space than a coffee table, as a substitute? For your rug, you could choose either way: neutral colour or a rust/ chocolate brown to play with your gorgeous emerald green sofa. I'd recommend a rectangular rug so that either all of the sofa legs but at least the front two can be on the rug. The sage advice is to go larger rather than smaller because it will give the impression of more spaciousness. PS.....avoid shaggy rugs.

Hi Jo! I found you via the building a workshop for your mum video, I’m loving all your videos and getting to know you. I love your filming style and look forward to more of your videos. One thing I would love to know more about is what your family business was and how you were able to sell it. I personally find this process fascinating as it’s unusual to hear a lot about how this happens for smaller companies, we normally only hear about some huge start up being sold to some mega company. Hopefully, one day you’ll be comfortable enough to share more about this part of your life and the process! I love your apartment, it gives me ultimate scandi vibes and reminds me of my family’s home in Finland, I love the lights you used over the art work, would you please share where you got these from? =)
