Indian parents don't know how to love unconditionally, it's actually us kids who love them like that. They are like "I love you as long as you do exactly what I want, have the same beliefs as me, think the same way and make decisions that I like" This is actually a trait of narcissism. They think us as a part of themselves, that's why they want us to be perfect in our their eyes and be show off our achievements as if their own
