You are very good. I like your openness and sense of flexibility. This path is very sacred and personal to the practitioners and everyone’s ancestors are different. Rigidity is out of place here. Love harmony and “flow “ works best for me. Thank you for sharing.

Oyabunmi is quite on point with her analyses and 'I couldn't agree more.'. Anyone that hasn't done any form of initiation yet could restrict their daily prayers to Eledumare (the creator), secondly - their individual Ori, thirdly (their parents), fourthly - their ancestors especially grand parents across many generations. Finally, people that have had or having positive impacts (boss/teachers/role-models/mentors/even friends) on you or people that depends on you ( this is known as Iba(homage in English).

Alaafia and Greetings to you sister. Very insightful Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us may Olodumare The Irunmale and your Egun grant you all the IRE that is there for you. Please allow me to fine tune some things that you have said. This whole video is about Iwure. Some translate Iwure to mean prayer, but it is so much deeper than this. Iwure as i understand it comes from the term Iwu Ire which is the act of pulling or digging for blessings (ire) It is done with the mouth and also by actions and you said it so very well when you spoke about Iwa Rere. But i wanna go even deeper. We talk about Iwa Rere or Iwa Pele. But Iwa can be relative to the odu that govern you (both main odu and supporting odu) It can aslo be relative to an odu you would have received for a particular period or issue that you may have had after doing your dafa (reading) The said odu may prescribe you to behave or act in a certain manner that you may not see as 'good character' Eg there are some odu that say you need to be economical with the truth. In other words you need to lie. Some may see lying as bad, but it is relative sometimes lying can save you life. Right? lol so as much as it tis important to have Iwa rere. I is also important to have the Iwa that you odu prescribed in order to have ire....all of this amounts to Iwure. Jus to fine tune what you said about Oriki. Oriki can also be seen as key words that bring to life the essence or aspect of anything animate or what we might want to call in animate, cuz even the stone that has no life has its very on Ipin (totality of being) So when you are reciting or singing oriki you are bringing to life that particular essence of that Imrunmale, Orisa or Egun. Also one good thing to add the use of precedent and antecedent what saying iwure eg 'Esu you are the one that went to the market and came back with a rooster you did not steal it you didnt not buy it, give me the same ability to receive all my ire with out offending anyone and without loosing any of my belongings. Plz note that even if you do not know how to use precedent and antecedent Olodumare and all the energies will hear you heart and grant you your request ASE. I will stop here, just so you know i am simply an awo in training and this is simply to add to all of the beautiful and insightful things that you have already said. This was long and there may or may not be typos lol....May Olodumare continue to guide you and bless you Ase o...Odabo
