No one talks about the people who plan on doing 20 years but also plan on maxing out their tsp every year.
Nice to see you upload again you inspired me to join the military.
Thinking about 91F as a possible mos if I join the National Guard. Is it difficult to get into this mos??
Jason I’m joining soon I have a very serious question for the army can I email or something?
yo man check kyle gott channel there is a military tounament u are un it 👍
The brs system seems like big screw job if you are going to make it to 20 if not brs is at least something. Miss your videos though I'd like to hear more about brs system from the reserve component as I'm about to join up again in 2018
rip?
I just joined the national guard like three month ago. Pretty chill. Lol

Kia Vue I finished four years in the marine corps. Got out. Then I decided to join the national guard. My mos in the national guard is 42A. I’m currently in school for that mos now. I got to keep my rank. Still a sergeant. Loud and proud. Haha. There’s way more Hmong people in the army than the marine corps. That’s dope. Hooyaa and OooRaaahh

I'm looking to switch to 42A. How do you like it?

opsec, i can't tell you which unit I belong to.
You look like the Asian dude off "13 Reasons Why" show.
Are you still weak?
Brs. Great for those who get out before 20. Not so great for those getting out at 20.

If you're new a soldier just getting in and invest in the tsp like you're supposed to for 20 years it's great either way.

I don’t think so. It just depends. You’ll end up getting $400 more through the legacy at retirement than BRS but BRS is getting that matching 5% in their TSP so I think it balances out in the end.
I'd rather leave it as it is...BRS isn't worth it to me.

chris L well he clearly said its not for ppl planning to stay 20 yrs. As for ppl who aren't, and the vast majority wont, blended retirement is best for them because at least when they leave they will have something. If they're smart enough to invest.

It’s honestly worth it, I’ve been in three years and plan to be in 20. By opting now to BRS And if I stay in 20 I will end up making more from the BRS if I live pass 65. You will still get a pension if you stay in 20 years but at a reduced rate of 40%
