Girl, I used to watch you when you went to FIDM but I started college as well and studying and working part-time took over my life. As of recently I switched to online classes and I agree it's difficult to manage sometimes. Good luck with you classes.

Psychology online graduate here! I studied at UNE online and it was GREAT. But it took me a while to find a job as a Support Worker...it’s painful having to tell employers that you studied online. But go ahead!

I graduated with an electrical engineering undergraduate degree from ASU last year. The 7 week classes are a struggle past week 4. The key to making it work is that you need to work ahead of schedule to not be stressed. The first 2 weeks are a joke but after week 4 the workload grows immensely. Work ahead and you'll be fine.

@@hannahmuellenmeister I did it completely online except my prerequisites (math, physics, chem, English, history, etc). I really don't recommend you do the math online. Linear algebra was rediculous online. The problems were so huge you had to use a calculator to do all you work. No way in hell did anyone not use a powerful calculator in that class (I don't care what anyone may tell you). But for the main program yeh I did it 100% online and got a job right away. But I didn't tell anyone I got it online. Don't EVER tell anyone that. Just say you moved to the local area and you went to school in Arizona or something. They seemed to be happy with that answer. Online still has a stigma to it. Engineering is no exception because to fully understand it you need time in the lab. But if you can go to a physical location and do it there I HIGHLY recommend it. I do feel like I don't have some concepts as good as I should. Doesn't mean you will have the same problem, but I kindof feel that way. Good luck

Cheers for the Video! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered - Ronucast Uncomplicated Recognition (google it)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for getting amazing ladies to chase you for sex without the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my coo-worker got excellent success with it.

how was the process of finding and comparing schools? What made you pick ASU as opposed to schools in California or anywhere else?

It was a loooong process. I started with online and physical schools in Texas because my residency is still there and did a ton of research online to find the best online college for me. I was between ASU online and moving to Dallas to go to UT Dallas. I ended up getting a job right out of graduating FIDM, and ASU offered classes online for those who lived in California so it just turned out to be the best fit! :)

You would have to look at the majors available online. Not all are offered and it also depends on the school you choose! :) My best advice is to research, research, and research! Thats what I did and ASU seemed to be the best fit.

Being in debt sucks but so does working a shit job because you don’t have a degree. Student loans is short term while being stuck at a job you hate for the rest of your life.

I just researched what online college had a good reputation when it comes to academics and listing it on your resume for potential employers and ASU is very reputable without being too expensive!

It depends on the class. Most of them I had midterms for and only a few I had actual finals. It’s all how your teacher decides to set up the course 😋

Do you have to have prior college experience in order to take online courses with ASU? Or can you just go straight in with just a high school diploma?

It's my second week of ENG 102 and I already want to quit. For some reason i have stuff due on Tuesdays wednesdays and Sunday. I've been used to online classes only having a Sunday due date.

Diego a ton of classes I’ve taken through asu have 2 to 3 due dates per week! It’s exactly like a normal college would function. I kind of like it because it keeps you accountable and helps you plan what to do on what day! That way you aren’t doing everything on one night.

Can you login anytime to take the classes or do you need to login at 8am-3pm for the classes? For example, I might be busy sometimes in the morning so I was wondering if we could take the classes at anytime? OR is there a certain schedule we have to login? Also are there live lessons where we have to meet up with teachers? Do we have to enable our web cam and microphone while in class or taking a test?

You can do your coursework anytime! There are just specific dates that homework, quizzes, and tests are due.

Also yes you do need a webcam and microphone when taking a test, they do monitor the entire thing to make sure you don't cheat!

Alayna Hernandez if you take online classes through a university with a physical school you can live on campus most schools have online classes so most students take a combination of online and in person classes.

Most online schools dont require you to pay for books, I think you get access to the schools library on LIRN

Thomas JO no same degree as ASU on campus. No difference whether or not you get it online or in person. On your transcripts it’ll say Arizona State like any other degree
