Well done !! Even with an official. I started my ONE ARM JOURNEY lately and I'm also uploading everything on my KZread Channel. When I watch my first video and compare the level to yours. I'm way behind. 🤣

Nice one, good luck on your journey, it can be a frustrating one but very worth it when you start holding it the first few times, it's a real buzz feeling. 🤝🏼🫡

Just amazing! One of the craziest one arm progress i´ve seen, may I ask now that you mastered the bosu is it still harder to hold than on the floor? Or do you find it easier now? if not im genuinly curious, how long can you hold it on floor?
@adammorsel
11 ай бұрын
Thank you very much 🙏🏻 At first, it was much harder of course. I was on around 20 seconds on the floor before I started learning it on the bosu. By the time I became very used to it, I kinda lost my ability to do it consistently on the floor. I would say I was on 30-40s on the bosu with about 5-10s on the floor lol. So it's definitely easier on the bosu now for me because of how much I have adapted. I'm back to about 20+s on the floor again. I am now working on mastering all of the variations you see me perform on the bosu but on the floor.

@@adammorsel make sense! I notices something similar when trying two arm straight bar handstand on like a rocking device and felt like it became even easier than a regular straight bar with practice so I wondered if it was kind of similar to this. Great job bro! I’m working on my paralette oahs but im not even near as strong as you, let’s see how far I can get it.

Yea, I'm learning it currently but had a very long lasting injury on my left hand which prevented me from doing so. Also I had to focus on one arm for the world record attempt
wow thats one of the most impressive and strongest handstand ive seen. just insane. What was your motivation to stop normal (=not bosu ) handstands? did you have the world record in your mind? why not beat the world record normal OHS ?
@adammorsel

Thank you very much. I just fell in love with the bosu ball training from the very first attempt. I decided to keep increasing my holds and found out that no one yet set a world record on the bosu, so it was pretty much mine for the taking after a bit more practice. I'm back to training on the floor again since I lost a lot of hold time due to concentrating on the bosu lol. World Record on the floor was already set, but I may end up trying to beat that too at some point.

I used to do handstand when I was younger, was training for it recently but my wrists were wrecked immediately 😅
@adammorsel

It's very demanding on the wrists, and I got injured for a while by not stretching prior training. Always ensure you perform a proper warmup first.

Is it necessary to be good on straddle one arm handstand first?
@adammorsel

It is not, but it's the easiest variation to learn which will make everything else easier to learn when you already know how to balance

For the bosu ball specifically, it had no current record, so I had to beat 45s to set it officially. My current record is 1m 9s Some people can hold handstands in general for a long time, but that's not without alternating each hand. Staying on one hand the whole time is much more difficult.
