As far as color goes do what you think is best, personally I have found color to be the least important property of a top water lure. Every thing looks black on the surface when looking from below it. Dark colors tend to have a bigger profile and white tends to have a slimmer profile. The action and how you work it is more important.

Sending you an email in just a min. Colorwise…. White/cream color is always good. And a dark color for the overcast days.
