Adam Shaw has suffered from OCD since he was 5 years old and his condition became so bad he thought he would kill his wife, and even contemplated suicide. Now, 4 years after being diagnosed, Adam has written a book about his experience and how he conquered his dark thoughts. He shares his story.

    The thing is, we get afraid we will do whatever the ocd is saying so that’s why we keep thinking of it because we want to secure ourselves we won’t. So it’s not that we would do it. It’s we’re afraid of the thought of doing it.

    He's so brave to talk about this. These can be horrible thoughts and talking about them is very scary as you might think you going to prison, that's the thing it gets that scary that you want to be locked up and keep everyone safe around you. OCD people are nice people and they just want to keep everyone safe so they do try their best to keep everyone safe.
