You can see that when we ride its so easy, and then when a friend gets on they are breathing so hard and need breaks here and there. Its so easy to say its not difficult, until you try yourself.

Exactly. even my husband is still thinking, I just sit on the horse, but you use so much muscles, non-equestrian have no idea what so ever... I just started last year, filling my childhood dream finally :)

@@zuzanadubravcova1307 if he thinks your doing nothing do this, if you own at lease then your golden if you ride lessons you can ask if you can, but tack up bring him to the barn, get him a helmet and have him ride for a bit, he should change his mind

@@BeCky10119 Unfortunately, I do not have my own horse or lease, I just train on my trainers horses. She would let him try it for sure, but he will not, I am sure about it. I did not even expect that is such a wotkout!

Seriously she should! I had a teacher who cursed if we couldn’t get something right 3 times :( she was brutal Ex: not finding the right distance or not getting a lead change in time.

7:49 the difference in the way erin brushes compared to eby is just hilarious, because eby is being careful and light, and Erin is just going at it!

Her posture is so good!! I’m amazed! A lot of non equestrians tend to slump over when they sit in the saddle, but her back was straight!

Yeah! I learned how in my first lesson because that was the first thing that they wanted me to learn, but they had to tell me “up down up down up down” the whole time so that I knew. And don’t even get me started on how I was with diagonals… I still am not the best with them.

Hi Erin! 💛 I recently found your channel through a youtuber named Riley responding to your tiktoks, and defending you against all those sicko comments. I was an avid rider and horse lover a decade ago, but stopped riding for various reasons. I did dressage too and just began jumping before I quit. I came back to it at the age of 26 in May ☺️ Watching your videos has been so helpful, and makes me feel involved in the equestrian world again in some way lol. I live in Texas, too!! I remember you saying you love the US & have a Texas barn tour video. I absolutely HATE the summer heat at times, and as a unconditioned rider, it’s hard to have the pants & boots on and not feel overheated and a little sick. I’m okay with the summer months break tbh for now 😅

Mel H, Hi 🤣 girls that ride horses are very lucky and enjoy the feeling being on the horse and sat in the saddle with control using their legs and jodhpur clad thighs, it will give girls better muscles in their legs and they will look better and better in their juicy jodhpurs xx they will enjoy moving around and grinding on the saddle too, im pretty sure they love having their legs wrapped round a large animal, must feel nice for the girl riders

You two are always so supportive of each other and I love it!

You are such a good & encouraging teacher. You should totally make this into a mini series. I'd love to watch the progress ❤️

Eby wow you did such a good job honestly. When I first trotted on a horse I almost fell off like five times. I wish we could all do as well as you that early on. And side note: you managed putting the bridle on far FAR better than I did 😁

Nice one Lauren 👌😁 which outfit do you like best? Its best to wear your jodhpurs really really super tight, because then u will move smoothly on the saddle and have less friction and chaffing, which means clothing is too loose and baggy 😊 x i know my shit!! 🤣👍

I love that you reassure her and tell her she’s doing great. I have been learning to ride recently and feel really self conscious when I’m not quite getting it. But I can see now when you explain positioning and movement where I am making the same mistakes. Hopefully I can learn from this. Brilliant video, lovely friendship😊

The best thing about this video is Ebby's bravery. I hope she had the high of achievement after that ride because it was great! The muscles will come in time. (As will the finesse!) That crossrail is bigger than the first one I ever jumped. AND--you stayed on! Win win win, all around!

I’m so glad she enjoyed it and had a less exciting experience this time around. It might help her keep her heels down if the stirrups were shorter. Just naturally that will force her to put more weight in her heel. Plus she’s doing a bit of gripping with her knees and not utilizing her stirrup. But that was lots of fun and I’m glad she’s enjoying herself and looking to get back into riding!

honestly just go for a lesson, i tried one because my friends ride. i have absolutely fallen in love! i am on my second lesson and just starting to trot. also remember no age is too old. im 13 and people have said that 13 is old but if you are dedicated you can do anything

The horse is a bit big and her jodhpurs are a bit big too lol, they cud do with being a couple sizes smaller so they look like painted on basically, this will help with chaffing and also looks amazing and flattering, cream elasticated jodhpurs are the best looking ones in ma opinion girl and knee high boots 😂 i think its because cream is flesh colour and outlines the juicyness of the riders assets x wat du think?

Yh Violette, wen u wear cream jodhpurs and black boots, u will feel comfortable and confident and you will be in a good place ok xx make sure you get super tight elasticated cream jodhpurs ok and you will look awesome and tight jodhpurs will help you feel everything from the saddle, like wats going on with the horse and vibrations, and also the thinner ur jodhpurs material is, the better cause ul feel closer to the horse xx gud luck xx
