Hey, I have a few questions about my switch. I have the Switch OLED and I've enjoyed my experience with it, but ever since the day I got it, the controllers have kept disconnecting mid-game while I use the handheld mode. Is this something I should worry about?

Another thing to try is charging it without the joycons attached.

wth My switch refused to turn on and after leaving it in the dock to charge, the green light flickered on and off for a second so I didn't know if it was charging. After sleeping, it didn't turned on until I removed the joycons and it was fully charged

The message is getting me every time😢

@@C0D3_2 not saying they’re bad or anything, but Motos aren’t the best for a lot of things, so I would get a Samsung instead.

Okay but how did you come up with the conclusion that it needed a new battery? Did the new battery die too? Was there an actual underlying issue? Electronics Things don’t just die for no reason.

I always leave my switch in a carrying case when not in use and have a cover for it to keep dust out when charging

I replaced the battery and it boots but will not charge. Any advice? thinking it may be a broken charging port. I've used 2 confirmed working switch chargers with different outlets.

Unplug the AC adapter and live it for 30 seconds to reset. Hold the power button on the switch down for 20 seconds. Plug in the switch and press the power button once. If the switch doesn’t boot then it needs proper repair. Either the battery is very dead or a connection is faulty

Anyone else have the switch battery die? Or even the joycon batteries?

Remember that switch battery dies if it sit down for too long without playing, so might have been the case for that one. Remember to charge your switch once in awhile if you're not using it very often.

Here’s a tip do not leave your Nintendo switch without charging it or leave it off the dock for over a month mine I left it and I started charging it go past one percent then it literally went to 100% and literally 30 seconds and then it would’ve literallythe battery would go down by tens every second until it’s dead but then afterwards I let it charge and charge and charge for like a month and then it’s now it’s fine

Either somethings wrong with the cable/charging port you have a spicy pillow, you might have to replace the battery

But does it charge, i just replaced the battery on a switch only to find out the charging port was shot. It does turn on now, but obviously when the battery dies it will just be broken again. I do have a couple replacements on the way along with a hot air solder station. Though it definitely turned into a lot less easy fix.😢

I've had my Switch for almost 3 years and just the other day it stopped charging when plugged into a wall socket. It still charges fine in the dock, but not by itself with a wall charger.
