I’ve used it a few times now and honestly have no complaints especially after figuring out the tailgate situation. I did recently upgrade my truck so I’ll have to get a new one. Thanks for the sub!

Magnet strip might work to seal off that side to prevent bugs from getting in I have the 8ft bed with a backflip truck cover might pick that one up and use it with one flap down for bunkbeds for the small kids seems legit

That truck body is aluminum, non-magnetic

So I figured out why you had those open spots at the tailgate. You were supposed to chriscross the middle and rear straps. The rear strap by the tailgate actually attaches forward on the truck which causes the tent material to pull over the edge of the tailgate and viola no gap right there. It's been a year since you made this so hopefully you've figured that out on your own.

I apologize for letting your comment slip by. I would say that with my tonneau cover it makes it a little more tricky to get it to fit properly. It probably would be difficult with a tool box but depending on your bed length you could honestly probably make it work. You can always jimmy rig things!

We are going to be winter overlanding/offloading with this tent and a diesel heater. So I'm glad I watched the video. We will be doing a pre-trip trial run and set up in the garage. Justin did you ever figure out a way to close off those gaps at the tailgate? Also Justin I wanted to say after this video I was actually looking forward to some more content. Looks like you only uploaded a small handful of videos in the year since posting this. I have zero interest in golf and after watching this video had planned to check out the rest of your stuff. Sad to see there isn't much of it. KZread is a giant commitment. We took careful consideration before we started getting serious. You can be successful buy the name of the game is content. It's hard I know and takes a ton of time. I work a 50 hour a week day job for the man, own a Jeep parts and accessories business, that's what myself channel is for, our off roading videos, product installs and reviews etc. We started going hard 7 weeks ago. We had 50 ish subs 7 weeks ago, took it seriously and have put out 1-2 videos a week and have 1200 or so subs and climbing fast! You've got to commit to making it work and I think you could have a successful channel with some more time investment. You do a nice job and are relatable. Had me excited after watching the video. Get motivated. I'd like to see more of your adventures my man. P.S. by happenstance we are also in MN and I had just searched for the righline truck bed tent when I found this video. Pretty funny.

Nope, if you throw some foam strips on those plastic clips you’re good. I haven’t noticed any scratching!

After u set the tent up…pack your truck and then let the tent down,,,,roll cover over it and when you get where your going,,,roll back cover set the poles and there you are,,,,set up
