The latest update as Nigel T Best, Matt and Sally take a tired, subsiding house and totally transform it into a Dream House.
We are doing it (almost) all ourselves! What could possibly go wrong?!

Have you longed of doing it yourself...but months (or years) later find you still haven't done it?

Castle, Chateau, Houseboat?
What about a lopsided 2 bed terrace? No?
Well, that's our choice.
But at the moment it is a bit of a disaster - no kitchen, heating to only half the house, dodgy electrics and woodchip wallpaper everywhere.
Can we turn it around?

Nigel when you get those tats on you are 'Simply The Best!' I see the kitchen is a very generous dimension. Now I am seeing a small dining area with three Ikea pendant lights above! I have an Ikea dining table of 120 x 60 that works well in a small space. Another space saver is building a small bench against the wall. Maybe there is room for something, just think this room has real potential.

Lots of great ideas right there. It is a deceptive room and hopefully it has a few options. I always reckon that as you use a room, the layout evolves so it could change quite a bit! 😉🍻
I saw 598mm for the washing machine and thought "Oh dear". But then I realised you would have spotted that mistake and allowed a bit more than that when you chopped of the worktop, so we should be good.
