I think a "thumbscrew" is a form of torture device, haha! But the armor looks great though, nice work.

There are some good splinted armguard styles that can be made with mild steel flat bar and a sleeve if you go for a more complex or even a wasteland samurai kind of affair i might even try to make a whole set of "easy" armor made to look like actual armor like with more order than chaos And to complement my wasteland tachi

Awesome armor! I'll have to use this idea for my own costume. Also, could you do a video on how to stay cool in a heavy/ hot costume?

I can't speak for Dimitri of course, but here's what I do: 1. Blue ice packs (the soft flexible ones, they fit under costumes) wrapped in fabric. They mold to my body and keep me cooler 2. I get my hair wet, evaporation works great (in deserts, but don't try this in San Francisco, it'll stay wet and soggy all day and all night!) 3. [This one works only for women, but I share it with the others] When I used to work at a Renaissance Festival, I bought a "bodice cooler" which is like a bud vase but with no base, and is made of very thick glass. Never a real bud vase, they could break. I fill it with bits of crushed ice, cork the top, and tuck it into my cleavage beneath my costume.

Love the channel :) Have you ever thought about making functional or semi functional scrap armor?

Looks promising but from an armour perspective it should be turned around, the small part up. This way it provides the most mobility and protection.
