    Is the 22mm clearance you mentioned centre to centre even if the pipework is clipped?

    The 22 mil clearance is between the pipes not centre to centre

    I had a set of benders like these made by draper 25 years ago yup a two part bender and the larst set of two part benders l got from the plum center 15 years ago all were just 15mm benders😀

    Lol. Would your customer need to look with his eyes closed ? It's very quick to use once you get into it. It's the accuracy I like. My apprentice was able to pull perfect bends with no experience. Takes time to get skilled enough to do by eye like yourself. You probably learned the old method of laying out though before you developed your eye skill. All the same if you don't need this method that's great.
