I’m using a compound. I can’t compete in the Olympics with it.

@@manuelgomez4495olympic recurve is a different sport compared to compound, this is a compound bow with pulleys and cams and such and they also use a release(think like a trigger) olympic recurve has the limbs that bend to give the arrow its force i personally shoot olympic recurve and compete, i have shot a bit of compound but not on a large scale

I'm so sure why anyone would want to see this young man's video of him sighting his new bow that he probably has $3k or more counting what all he has on it and instantly go to hating on him. I think the feller might be jealous that this young man worked hard and saved up and bought his nice bow.But there's always gonna be someone say something negative. I mean it's not like the was bragging or talking trash. So how does it go to competing in the Olympics just because he was sighting in his compound bow. But you know the bottom line is you don't have to have a $3k bow or $10k bow, you can have the first Bear compound bow or the Mathews Lift, you could have a $150 Walmart bow or some overpriced old pos from a meth head at your local pawn shop and none of it matters because you still have to pull back that draw weight on a cold November morning in a treestand after sitting there all morning in the cold and you have to know when to draw and then you have to be able to hit that bullseye on that big wide 10 point180" buck's vitals that you have been scouting for two years now and just got a daylight picture of him on your trail cam and the wind is right. So if you can't hit that shot under pressure like that then it doesn't matter what bow you have and it doesn't take a fancy expensive bow to do it. Anyways I have rambled on long enough with my old ass so I would like to wish you good luck sir in your competing in Olympics archery and I hope you win a gold medal buddy I really do!!
