22.5" will go right on there. if you need some, pay the shipping and i will send 6 to you. jones performance is very popular. reminds me of a "state park" department truck that made its way to a landscaper. neither would run it in the winter unless plowing snow. most s1900 i have owned were cdl gvwr trucks. odd its a s1900 and hydraulic brakes. not common here. no glow plugs....may have a 120v block heater. seeing no intercooler, hydraulic brakes and the two speed rear, the original dt466 may have been a lower hp like 190 hp or similar. great it has a 210 hp replacement. newer bed than the truck for sure. absolutely fantastic purchase. so very happy for you. look forward to you using this gem!

Yeah, I think you would have to get a whole new hub for the split rim for the new 1 pice rim with lug nuts. That dt466 is a very good motor, that engine is very sought after for all the heavy duty trucks.

Youre right , tons of em around but nothing in my price range! lol . i bought a 1989 f450 with a 460 and 5 speed stick for 2500 put a new clutch in it now its mint. the guy gave up on it after the clutch was slipping. he put new glass, fuel tank, brakes, lines and hoses, efi system re wired etc. good steal for 2500 considering how many new goodies its got. if i were the guy i woulda just done the clutch

The the S series trucks. Some of my favourite. Also love that it has the strobes in the 4 corners of the box. Kind of a rare thing. I know you were talking about replacing them with leds but it might be cool to keep them as strobes. I know you can get a whelen strobe power supply on Ebay for pretty cheap. Just and idea. Again love the truck and can’t wait to see more videos on it

That thing u found in the tool box might be a pin for the rear tail gate . U tighten it down so u can raise the bed without dumping the load . Also so skid steers can take small amounts of material with the bed raised up and move it around instead of dumping it. It’s a safety thing so box can’t open up and kill someone . We used them when hauling asphalt

Ok let me see what I can do. I started watching your videos back in about July of last year. Inspired me to push forward with what I've always wanted and that's to run a business similar to what you do. Poured all our savings into building our first truck. Good ole 1989 square body with original 366 motor. One thing you said sticks with me "you can't just take the good you have to be willing to take it all bad included" . Things were off to a rocky start making a name for yourself is far from a walk in the park. Anyway things were moving along until. October 24th 2020 some one thought it a good idea to burn our garage down. All my tools the cars we had started getting and repairing everything. We were lucky to still have our truck dogs and our lives. We live in my brother's basement so everything we had was in that garage and three sheds. It happened on Night we didn't work into the early morning hours. So everything we had put together and saved now gone again. Now it's harder because most our time is cleaning up the massive mess and not on making our business work. However we have not Givin up at times we want to but in our hearts we cant. So I will see what I can get together I appreciate your time sorry to ramble thank you Sincerely, QuaQua Shane Gordon On Thu, Jan 21, 2021, 1:53 AM KZread

Nice truck. Looks solid however regarding the 2 speed diff I was taught to not start the truck moving in high range. Some trucks had a sticker on the dash specifying this. The motor on the 2 speed failed on my truck one night 100miles from home. Had to drive home in low range at 35 mph. Was a long slow trip.

I changed my hubs and went with 22.5 Alcoa’s and low pro tires. It felt better riding interstate hauling stone. The dt466 is phenomenal. 210hp got the job done, but if you want more out of it you can find a lot of aftermarket parts, it’s a popular engine for pulling trucks/tractors. I still have a 92. It pulled 450hp/1300ftlbs on the dyno after turning up the pump and changing turbos.

Since I decided to do head studs I did a mild porting. I also had my injectors flow matched for my injection pump. My truck wasn’t auto so I could spool whatever big single I wanted, however a compound deal would be better for most people. I also added a pretty large intercooler while I was doing it.
