The purple flower you asked about is called agapanthus africanus aka lily of the Nile or African lily in the UK. No, I'm not a botanist, we just had them growing all over around my house when I was growing up in California. Looks like a really beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Enjoy!

In the first seconds, I didn't think the house was in Vietnam until I saw the decors. The house is interesting and suitable for short people. It is great to stay there for some days

The colorful flowers next to the Lily of the Nile are Impatiens which are still popular today although the Lily of the Nile are not ( in California only, not sure the rest of the US) . Have a wonderful vacation. Much love to both of you

Maybe the run-of-the-mill kind you see at gas stations and median strips are not, but the “high-class” ones are very much in demand! You won’t find them at Home Depot tho. :-)

The decorations suit the house. Rustic and mountain cabin decors. It reminds me of mammoth mountain in California.

I live in Irvine, California and my house is surrounded by these purple flowers trees. There are a lot of visitors come here to take pictures of the trees. Oh, that's a very cute house, Max. Da Lat has many nice-looking houses like that. Da Lat’s climate is great for farming: flowers, tea, and vegetables. Most vegetables are transported to the south from Da Lat. What a place to visit. Thank you for sharing.

Those are Jacaranda trees, the ones with purple flowers. We here in Cali take them for granted, but the Japanese will travel to other countries just to see them and take pictures of them.

I will definitely go here when I return to the country! I have been to Da Lat a bunch of times but I did not know about this wonderful place!! Thanks Max

Yes it is a typical western cottage with some modern amenities. Unfortunately it fell short at the kitchen area especially the kitchen sink. A beautiful countertop and a beautiful square sink should be installed under countertop instead of surface mount. Everything far from civilization is an ideal place for weekend retreat,newlyweds home away from home.
