My new guillotine shear!
Ойын-сауық
I did a lot of research I tried several! I wanted one that would fit on my bench and would last a long time and cut thicker gauges for ring shanks and 18g bezel strips and super easy to use. A really good guillotine will be an investment, one that will not loose its value, blades can be removed, sharpened or replaces and made in the USA. I ended up with The Accucutter 4001. Shipping on this one is about $40. and you can return it it unto a year if you have any issues. It cuts like a dream and is so easy to use. I'll post a video in here on a different post so you can see how it works. In my opinion This one is really best for a jeweler's work. www.riogrande.com/.../heavy-d... if you want to see more of my videos go to lesliekailvillarreal.com

Because of the shearing action, it twists the little strips of cut metal doesn't it. How do you go about untwisting it? Just by hand or do you hammer it flat?

If you tried the Potter guillotine shear why did you choose the Accucutter over that?

The riogrande link does not work. This seems to be the new link to the same product www.riogrande.com/product/heavy-duty-precision-7-guillotine-shear/114023
