I am planning on getting one. I do auto detailing as side job/ hobby. When I go to someone's house, a lot of time is spent on set up and clean up. With a water tank I will be able to wash in middle of a parking lot if need be. I normally use electric pressure washer. I got the standard low end Ego push mower and it still going strong three years later. I like that the only maintenance is just charging batteries. You can use most pressure washers to wash cars just use either 25 or 40 degree nozzles, unless the paint is starting to peel. Using foam cannons, look for dilution ratios. Not following dilution ratios leads to wasted product.

@@luk2965 I have a Ram 2500 four door with a 6 ft bed. I did buy 12 amp hour batteries, because I do own larger vehicles. But I imagine the 6s will do at least two cars before a charge. You are not running a pressure washer the full wash process. I do have a couple electrics that perform a little better performance wise. I just like the convenience of having to not drag out an extension cord. If you are willing to invest in the 12s or 6s and buy the kit and an extra charger. I think you will be pleased with it. Ego batteries tend to charge in a reasonably amount of time. I do recommend getting a longer hose, it don't take long for a 35 ft hose to run out, when washing a car. If the price is too much, I would get an Active 2.0 if all you want is something to wash a car. The Active is electric. Nice thing about the Ego, is Ego does have other lawn equipment. Batteries may be pricey, but they are not just limited to one item.

Good build quality, 5A batteries really good, no problem Had this item just over 1 week, used it to clean several cars, the batteries have not needed recharging. Fantastic build quality, I would recommend this; I work as a professional car valet and I need something reliable and effective. Early days but absolutely brilliant so far. You should buy the right tool for the job. If you're cleaning a huge area of drive or a really lengthy job, don't buy a cordless! This is fantastic if used for the correct work and is a great tool.

My wife contacted eGo a little over a year ago asking if they had plans to make a power-washer. They said it had entered R&D at the time and now here we have it! Yay! Very cool. Thanks for posting this review. Will be adding one to my outdoor tool-kit soon. On a completely different topic, I really like the layout of your workshop. I've been stalling doing something similar in the basement.

Finally an electric/ battery powered pressure washer that's 3000+ PSI. Finding a battery or plug in pressure washer that's at least 3000 psi is like a needle in a haystack, the only thing I think I would add is a 0 degree nozzle. I love that a foam cannon is included.

nozzles are cheap, most are 5 - 10 bucks at any place that sells pressure washers. if you have a Northern Tool, they have a variety in different orifice sizes. The turbo nozzles is pretty much a zero degree that rotates.

I think this thing looks great! I only use a pressure washer to wash my cars once a week and maybe clean some patio furniture. The portability is great and if you already have other Ego products the batteries will be interchangeable. I bought the Active 2.0 when it came out, so I can’t justify buying another right now.

Woah, does that hose that you can just put in a bucket of water work well? Seems like a perfect type of device to use at my off grid, no running water, hunting cabin. Dude! I might have to get me one of those just for that little water option. Wouldn’t be a thing for me to bring hella 5 gallon water jugs filled up to camp with me, pour em into a bucket one by one and wash my cabin off. It sure needs it

Looks good and performs good is two different things. Eletric has always been clunky when it comes to pressure washers. The psi is good, but the gpms could be higher imo. Though its not terrible for eletric. Looked like it struggled with pressure for a bit, maybe a priming delay who knows. Ill buy one in a year if they dont end up being junky. Let others test it out first on this one.

Only 4.5 metric litres per minute! I have to say I expected more from Ego. I already have a number of their OPE products and am suitably impressed. Years ago I did water blasting and steam cleaning for 7 years and quickly learned that it's not the pressure that removes stuff, it's the volume. Well, obviously press helps but according to the laws of hydraulics, pressure is only a resistance to flow. Basically pressure means nothing UNLESS you can back it up with volume also.

The tools don't get slower as the batteries drain.
