Are you happy with the velocity/SD/ES from the standard barrel compared to other barrels of the same length/caliber? I’m on the fence on getting a Solus in .308 then 6.5 if the .308 is nice. My hold up is the barrel being made by Ballistic Advantage. I’ve not had good luck at all with their barrels accuracy wise. And they are always on the slower side. 3x BA premium stainless .223 wylde, 1x BA premium stainless 6mm ARC, and 2x Aero nitride in .308. Have gotten some good groups with each, but not consistently at all. Hand loading for the .223 Wylde was frustrating to say the least. They’re ok for a general purpose rifle shooting 55/62 grain, but anything precision related builds I’m done with BA/Aero in AR barrels. All those barrels were replaced with: White Oak Armament, Rainier Arms, Centurion, Wilson Combat. All were noticably more accurate and less picky my first time out with each of them compared to any BA barrel.

Pewview, if doing reviews on long rifles is somethings you're gonna do more often, can I sudjest the Bergara B-14 Wilderness HMR. I got my rifle, bipod, scope mount, and glass (cheap) for a total of $1600. And I absolutely love it. May be something to look into for a cool video

Beautiful, just beautiful. I so wish I could justify buying such a rifle. Grew up in the country, shooting literally every day to living in town and shooting very little. I asolutely hate city life but my wife inherited her paid for childhood home so there’s no way I’m getting back to the country anytime soon.

To me, if you are paying full price, the Delta five Pro is probably the move due to the more accurate guarantee. But if you can catch this on a crazy sale, like they had on Black Friday, it’s super hard to argue against.

Why would you leave the action open when moving? Seems like a way to get something you don't want jammed in to it if you ever fall. Yeah it's a half a second of time saved when sliding your hand forward to grip it, but the risk doesn't seem worth it.

Not sure, but I think it's for safety. Don't want to be running with a live round in the chamber. I was gonna comment that it was funny the only one who did chamber a round was the ATF guy, who "should" know better🤣.

​@@chrisb9478i don't know. Years ago I had a savage 111 in 7mm mag and my wife currently has an axis 2 in .243 that shoots unbelievably tight so long as the barrel isn't hot for a 500 dollar gun. No its not a T3x and came with shit glass but she filled her tags with it.

What do you consider a "precision rifle"? I built a 700 Remington in 6.5 CM with a heavy varmint barrel, threaded the barrel added a competition muzzle brake, swapped the stock for a Grayboe stock, and shoots a 1/4-1/2 moa at 100 yards easily and tack driver at 1000+ yards. I think that build even with a diamond trigger tech trigger was cheaper than the base of this gun. I would take that set up over this any day of the week for the money. Precision shooting comes down to barrel, action, and trigger. @@msquared9605
