This is the first time we've EVER owned NEW Boats! Its been a long time coming and we finally took the plunge!! After decades in the fishing industry, traveling the country and filming, neither Matt nor Tim has ever owned a brand new boat. Tim took the leap first and Matt isn't far behind. Come take a look at Tim's new Skeeter!
You've been seeing the Skeeter in videos for a few months now and the questions have been pouring in. We've been meaning to give you a tour for a while but we were busy dialing in the rigging, breaking in the motor, and getting to know the boat so we could answer any questions that might come up. After months of seat time, we can tell you with confidence that we love this boat!

@@mikem8502 being blessed my friend. As a widowed husband and a single dad to 2 great kids (one being blind), its hard to find the money for sure not to mention the time to go fishing. I hear they finance boats now for 20yrs. Idk.

I started in a float tube a few decades ago. I graduated to a 12' aluminum and then a bass tracker for several years. I've purchased used boats up until this one.

Lol, but caught more fish and more memories from small boats than big ones.
I've been bass fishing since 1972. I want you guys to know that you're the only guys I take advice from . You guys are absolutely incredible fishermen . Thank you for sharing real information that really works .
Skeeter for life. Been fishing out of a skeeter for over 2 decades now. From a top of the line 2001 zx200, 2003 zx225, a few years later another ZX 200… my old man was given a brand new top of line skeeter for his bass tournament season and was a salesman by day so he’d market them and promote them on the water, he could sell ice to a Eskimo. When he finished his professional career he ended up buying a Express. He just gave me a 1998 18ft Javelin Renegade MINT CONDITION with a BRAND NEW ($15000) 60hp mercury 4stroke , motor guide trolling motor..Two rod lockers, two seats , one console, two live wells, plenty of storage he got it for 5k- an absolute steal from a widowed wife. He bought that for me- a kayak angler.. I’m doing a little work to it and should be ready to go by summer… but i think I’ll still use my kayak majority of time since it’s cheaper, and all the places and honeyhiles where i make my content - i can easily acess by kayak and sometimes kayak only…so this will definitely give me a whole new experience making content on a bass boat rather than in a kayak where it’s like you’re there with me for the ride but I’m still stoked for the opportunities it presents! I just can’t wait to get my hummingbird set up and do some scooping on these Adirondack lakes that have never been scoped. Can’t wait to catch GIANTS that have never seen a lure
I'm glad for you getting a new boat, but as a fella who worked at Champion....I was about to say sad it's gone but I'm hearing you've kept it! That's awesome! I love those old Champions, guess I'm a bit impartial! Come over to Bull Shoals and put that back on its home water, come fish with us! 😃 Again, so glad to hear the Champion has earned the "muscle car garage status"!

I'm a huge champion fan myself, I was glad to know he still has it. They were built extremely well, and there's few boats out there even now that can match or beat the handling of those boats. My dream champion is a 203 elite. I will own one, eventually.
Tim, you guys are the best by a long shot and we really appreciate and enjoy your videos and the effort you and Matt put into them. I just turned 82 and go as often as possible and look forward to seeing your Mon, Wed and Fri videos. Although my tournament days are long over, I still like to learn about new techniques. Thank y'all so much for your great run.

I recently switched gears from long range precision shooting which is also very expensive and im leaning towards saving toward a boat and kayak to fish my local rivers and lakes in Mid-Missouri in the next several years. Hennessy shop was pretty legit to see. That little bit of time I was there with Matt and his Dad picking up the Jet boat I got to meet some of the guys there. Solid crew and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Mastering their craft💪

Finally! Been waiting for this video. Skeeters are in my top 5, maybe even top 3 favorite bass boats. It's a beautiful rig man, congrats. How you guys liking TN? I'm retiring from active duty soon and been looking hard at moving to the Knoxville area, TN living is right up my family's alley. Just seems like it has the perfect mix of what we're looking for
Nice rig! I’m currently running the 2022 fxr21. They are good comfortable boats. They are on the slower side but the big wide front deck for 2 anglers gives you tons of room. I do see there can be a potential of electrical issues in the skeeter with sub par butt connections with no heat shrink. But all & all great boats congratulations!
When you come out west, let's collab on a video and fish the Delta!!!! I'll make the baits!!! 🤙🏼

Boat looks fantastic. Was that the motor leash you had on the Yamaha? After seeing the after affects of stump hitting at high speed that is a life saver.
I also run a Skeeter and love it .
That is my dream boat!
Didn’t know you were a game warden. I’m sure that was a fun job with special challenges. That Skeeter is sweet!

Love the boat! I have a 2020 FXR21. I had to go Garmin up front for Panoptix better image but have a solix 12 up with it for mega 360 and a Solix 15 at the dash.I really wish Humminbird would get competitive with the image quality for live scope.
You guys need to come to illinois to fish!!! Tough water at least the farther north you go but theirs some gems down south! Love to see some new states for you guys!

I was in the market for awhile because my bass boat was down but than I found a deal on a used motor and just today got my boat back can’t wait to use it on the lake here but we been getting crazy rain and record snow for northern Cali. Now maybe I’ll buy a new truck to haul my boats around 😂

Awesome boat Tim! Does the standard Skeeter boat cover fit over the electronics, 360, and target lock or does it require modification? What factored in your decision to go with the 20 versus the 21? In rough water, how does this boat compare to your 210 in terms of ride quality and staying dry? Congratulations on the new boat!

My cover fits with everything on it but it is tight lol. The only factor was availability honestly. I knew I would be without the Champ for quite a while and I wanted the new FXR. The 20 has been great but I haven't had it in giant water yet.

Great stuff as usual. You and Matt have been running big Humminbird units for a while now. I was wondering what voltage you see on that front Solix 15 using AGM’s? I have been down a rabbit hole and have stable power now but can’t seem to figure out a way to stay above 12V for more then a few hours as I have 2 Solix 15’s, a Solix 12, 360, live and lock. Asking around to see what other people are getting to see if I’m crazy. I was surprised to see you running AGM’s vs lithium.

They came from the factory but when I upgraded them on the Champion Trailer I went with Moto Metal 962 wheels in black.

Why not charge the agms together in parrell with a 4 bank charger? Can you leave them in parrell and use a 5 bank?
Hey! Tim. Are you familiar with the Caymas Cx20, Nitro Z20 or Phoenix Pro 819 Bass Boats? I'm currently looking at a Phoenix Pro 819. Just trying to see how these boats compare to your Skeeter as far as handling is concerned.
How is this boat in rough water compared to the your Champion 210? Why did you go with this brand Skeeter VS a Ranger or Phoenix or any other brand? Thanks

So glad y'all have your heads screwed on right. There is not another boat that comes close to a skeeter. I have been a tech for 18ys and have driven every bass boat ever made. The skeeter and the champion are the 2 best ever made
