I couldn't imagine ever spending $6500 on a pair of shoes... but seeing these was about as close to convinced as I'll ever be. The work was truly stunning.

I hear you. Bespoke and the well-crafted are certainly a front-end investment. But if you think about wearing these shoes 3 times a week, for 10 years, the cost per wear is several dollars. But still, a lot of money. There are shoe makers who could probably make bespoke for less.

I don’t think I’ll ever own a pair of $6,500 bespoke shoes but I never thought I’d ever own a $1,600 pair of John Lobb’s either and I bought myself a pair last month. So you never know..I know that watching Mr. Allison’s channel has blessed my taste and wardrobe but it’s been a curse on my wallet. Lol Thanks for the great videos.

I have never been interested in bestoke shoes or anything like that. But damn if I didn't just spend 2 and a 1/2 hours watching you Get a pair of shoes created for perfect fit.

I like these gents, humble and knowledgable.

Oh wow Kirby. These are simply stunning. The color is so versatile. Congratulations.

As a maker, I have very much enjoyed seeing the process of seeing these shoes come into being, but more than anything I'd have loved to be in the back room seeing these beauties get put together. I know everyone has their secrets, but The Process and seeing the techniques these masters employ is what I find most interesting. Also, seeing how they make that patina would have been awesome!

The depth of colour on those shoes in simply amazing, and gorgeous.

I can't keep my eyes off those "Callaway" style boots. The light brown calfskin and light brown suede looks amazing. I didn't think I'd want that particular style and combination .....but now I do. Kirby's shoes are amazing. I love the patina work

Those shoes are art. One of the best pairs I have seen

Last spring at their trunk show in DC, Dean took my measurements for my first pair ever of bespoke shoes. I just had my first trial fitting last month in Atlanta and the fact that there were no adjustments needed to the lasts--carved/shaped by Tony--goes to show just how incredible they have become over the years. Simon was really delighted to see how well the trial pair fit and I can't wait to drop by the shop this summer wearing them.

@@creamfalcon like nothing i've ever had on my feet before. and that's just going off the trial pair. for full transparency it's my first bespoke footwear commission, but oh MAN they are just perfect closeness to the foot all around. Not constrictive, just sort of a nice leather hug.

This pair of shoes is something else. Thought they looked great in hand but after you’ve worn them they just look unreal

Beautiful shoes… but my LORD….$6500? To walk on the street and sidewalks, or scratchy tile at some hotel? I’d truly be afraid to wear these ANYWHERE. And I’ve paid $1000, 2000 plus for shoes. I’d need SEVERAL raises to buy these! 🤣 But so darn beautiful they are.

I'm astonished how much the detail is in made to measure shoes! I'm talking about the last by no means least the laces, Jesus H Christ. When Kirby gets his laces tied for him, it reminds me of that Columbo episode when the murderer gets identified because he tied his victims change of shoes laces, they were the opposite way to the victim would have tied them. OH, just one more thing........

While I aspire to be a and look up to, a well dressed man, I don't know much about the world of a gentleman. These shoes are beautiful. Kirby thank you for taking us along on your journey for gentleman perfection.

Continued... Many of the renowned tailors, shoemakersand art galleries will be open to visitors. There will also be a central stage for talks and live music. I was wondering if you had any experience with G&G with their main line. All my dress shoes are from C&J with 348 lasts E size and I'm wondering how they fit compared to G&G TG73 lasts
