Cotton candy Dan is my favorite animatronic of the new 2024 Spirit Halloween lineup and it showed up with damages!
After talking to spirit Halloween they have offered me a full refund and a prepaid shipping label to send it back to them.

All my animatronics are from Spirit Halloween None of Them broke in the box. Maybe its unlucky 🤷🏻♂️

@@Blazer23.Official totally, but at the same time there is a lot of good quality things on this prop. Especially their new plugs
you're not alone. (except its with a different animatronic) i got bag o' bones from spirit halloween and it was working at first but then after a few goes of it it broke and the skeleton wouldnt go back in the bag. i feel like what i experienced there is similar to your experience with cotton candy dan

Probably a faulty pin connector or wire solder on the board. Test for any current going into the motor?

mine just broke relay switch isn't working
You're lucky this is a new animatronic. I would email or go to spirit. Last time one of my animatronics broke, it was old so i couldnt get a new one. I was able to fix it.
Did u make sure u pluged in every wire? Bc mine didn’t move or tslk, but thst was bc I forgot to plug in a wire

Same thing happened to me but worse The arm movement didnt work The leds in the bucket didnt work The cap for the waterproof adapter was missing One leg pole was damaged so i couldnt attach it Its super annoying now we have to ship it back and wait for a new one

@@Aidan_minotti it dosent say waterproof but every wire connecton is waterproof i held him with my own hands and i know that for a fact

@@Noah_Haunts hmmm mine definitely was not water proof, the power adapter was normal. The little plugs inside that connect to the control box are spirits new connection piece which is better for disconnecting and connecting compared to the old ones. But those are not water proof

I knew they would break easy
So I want to say it might be not be broke what happens to some animatronics it the motor gets locked up and is an easy fix just take apart the mechanism untill u uncap the motor and just move the motor then put it all back together

Spirit has two sides Really cheap material or I guess good material.. But 380 is way to much especially for what ur getting for the prop is very upsetting. Maybe contact dr zombie? If not already but yeah it’s very understandable why you would be upset.
Me personally I’m not a fan of his swaying arms, if I had one like this I’d be fine with it

It’s a shame you spend all this money on these animatronics and they use cheap parts and charge you so much. This is what scares me about spirit Halloween. I have a lot of animatronics, but most of my animatronics came from Home Depot or Lowe’s or distortion spirit Halloween products but the animatronics in the parts is in there is just garbage. This is an animatronic that I want and I’m so scared to buy because of that reason right there.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even care if it won’t sway side the side because that’s the least of the animatronics actions. The main thing is it talking and popping up the swain side. The side is not the main thing so just ignored it in my opinion, but do what you wanna do I guess
That’s why I do not plan on getting him I think he’s weird also
