Especially this year with wrexham and Notts gone. Chesterfield is the easiest, Southend the most difficult. If the shrimpers get new owners I put them in the playoffs. If not, they’ll cease to exist.

What is happening at Southend United is heartbreaking. Only 14 contracted players, staff wages not paid for three months, pre season friendlies cancelled, even training sessions being called off due to the abysmal state of the facilities. It has the look of a club that is dead in all but name. After the whole tragic collapse of Bury a few years ago, one had to hope that we would never see anything like that happen again but, sadly, it looks like recent history could very well be repeating itself.

Devasting for all involved. Bit of a joke when the York city owner has paid more wages to the Southend staff than the Southend owner has all year

I'd like to see Oldham getting promoted since they are the most historic team of the league.

people have been saying this for years but the NL have no interest in letting more big clubs go up. They want them to stay in the NL to make it look better.

altrincham have a strong, big squad. they will be as low as midtable realistically

National league doesn't look as strong this year, we might get a surprise team come up to the football league here

York city here! Iam happy to keep our heads low & out of the limelight, however I think we will finish in the top 10

Decent prediction matt tbf as a hartlepool fan i agreee with were u put us however even if we dont finish 1st or win the playoffs i do belive we will get to the final of the playoffs

i would say 4th would be good for York. Not a big enough quality squad once they get injuries

Mid table for Solihull that’s my area in England I’ll take it I can say a bit better but I still Remember the striker we sold that was the worst day of my life 😢

As a York fan I see a lot of promise, I hope we can make the play offs at least, definitely some decent sightings on paper I think.

With new addition of norwood and the carlisle lad in the mddle who today was to be honest outrageous see his goals plus the right back weve just signed oldham will be on to win the league 😊

As a york fan I think you've put us in the perfect position with us making lots of new signings under our new owners especially with us signing some former prem players and Tyler cordner who is one of the best if bot the best defender in the league

Eastleigh season ticket holder here. Really hopeful of a promotion push with this group of players, entirely depends on how Paul McCallum performs. Was unreal for us a few years back. We could finish anywhere from 5th to 15th tbh

I don’t watch conference football like at all I am a Liverpool fan because that’s where our family is from around that area I have been watching Liverpool games since like 2012 or 2013 so a while and yes I am an American but if I had to pick a favorite team to support from this division it’s gotta be York city because I did a fifa 16 RTG with them and won 3 premier leagues in a row and a champions league in that save. Would love to see them back in the football league

I think Dorking might be able to just about survive this season. The poor defensive record was mostly due to the start of the season. They managed to bring in 2 experienced defenders from Crawley Town who helped the push for survival significantly in the 2nd half of the season. They also launched a fan ownership campaign recently I believe so they will be able to improve facilities and make the transition to full time.

Notts need to go to Hollywood

For me I think the NL will go like this: Promoted 1st: Chesterfield Play offs 2nd-7th: Oldham, Woking, Borehamwood, Bromley, Barnet, Dagenham & R Top half (8th-12th): Gateshead, Eastleigh, Pools, Halifax, Dale Mid table (13th-16th): York, Kidderminster, Solihull, Southend Surviving (17th-20th): Ebbsfleet, Altrincham, Fylde, Dorking Relegated (21st-24th): Oxford City, Aldershot, Wealdstone, Maidenhead

i've put Rochdale in 16th it is National League tradition for a L1 team to go down to L2 then straight down to NL to struggle look at Southend and Scunthorpe

Chesterfield look nailed on for the title. I think York and Halifax will end up in the playoffs, maybe with Barnet, Boreham Wood, Hartlepool and Bromley. I think it'll be a bad year for Rochdale in midtable and Southend going down. I think Dorking will be safe. Fylde to go back down.

re Rochdale you just never can tell how the teams that have come down handle the transition,Oldham took a good while to settle,then came good second half of the season.

@sheryllwilson6406 yeah I think historically if they have experience of non league football they tend to fare better. Cheltenham, Barnet, Grimsby for example. Those who haven't really tend to struggle. Wrexham, Luton, Oldham. I think Hartlepool will take it in their stride where as Rochdale will struggle to adapt. There's always exceptions of course, but I think if you've not experience non league you're either in for a very bad finish or very expensive season.

I do think FC Halifax Town are underdogs for the 23/24 season. I predict the Shaymen to finish in the playoffs comfortably.

Southend United might push for too 6 but I think they would be outside of it. Since Ron Martin totally ruined the football club.

not gonna lie i think solihull moors have a good chance of going down, lost some key players on the back of a poor season making for one even worse

matt really doesn't like altrincham, always puts them in the mix for relegation, also EASTLEIGH 15TH they signed mccallum, boldewijn and quigley thats playoffs instantly

i agree. i think they will be nearer bottom than top.

Southend are gonna get relegated the pitch looks like a Sunday league pitch and players haven’t been turning up for training because they haven’t been payed. I think they will for sure struggle

Woking don't have a mid table budget. We've had a lot of investment over the past couple seasons.

Ox City to go down, great club but could only scrape a draw against my local Havant and Waterlooville who were in the worst form run in the league so I doubt they will have enough to stay up.

Woking will be in top 3 and Eastleigh in top 10

Southend to be relegated, hope they don't fold though

Do some research on the actual squad before you predict where they finish😂 Eastleigh just had a takeover and have only added to the squad they had last season. Dorking have never been relegated in their existence. Rochdale won’t finish 4th with them just coming down

@@marcpeters5529 who do you support?, I had Solihull to win the league with good reason. Everybody has bad predictions but I can’t stand predictions when ppl haven’t assessed the squads. Rochdale have just been relegated and are going through financial issues. Signed a centre half who couldn’t even get in Altrincham’s side in Ferguson
