It's the gas purge valve. Small lil fix my 2015 performance pack gt was doing it before I traded it in for my 2021 gt performance pack premium 10r80. Trust me, I know exactly what you are talking about. It's just a little plastic peace that purges your gas into your motor. That lil peace wouldn't even cost you 100 dollars. Plus it's a easy install.

Just let them know to change that purge valve & you're problem will be fixed. Everything you mention was exactly what I was going through before I bought my 4th gt. Stay up Bubba💪🏿

Also look up. What is the symptoms of a faulty purge valve video on KZread? You might need to show them none Mechanics at that dealership
