That tube that runs next to the bolt is a flexible coolant hose. No issue there

It's great to see someone doing a build on one of these, so excited to see the finished project! Also, looks like the axle nut on the rear wasn't keyed into the axle. Not sure if that was purposeful but having just done the cv to my mr2 I figured I would point it out in case.

Mark might be the only person I’ve ever seen line up the yellow dot with the valve stem. In my shop we’ve mounted a set where 2 we’re like that and 2 we’re randomly placed and the random ones actually balanced out better - so we all stopped caring about those dots.

There's a company that makes an oil filter adapter/relocator for the 2arfe. Would highly recommend. It would allow you to run an oil cooler and have more oil capacity. I put a big ol wix on my 2011 camry and it got the job done 😂💯

I use VR1 10W30 on my turbo Saleen! Still running strong at 190k miles

Try running an 8k front 6k rear setup to reduce the oversteer sketchiness. You're running a fwd spring rate setup. Or you may want to play with spring rates to get it more neutral.

Mark, the Toyota filters come with that little plastic piece that you can insert into the bottom of the plastic filter housing to get the oil out before you spin it off, so you don’t get oil everywhere haha

This is Ben- I really have always just seen it as another spot for oil to potentially leak. Always just spin it off like a regular oil filter, both on my MR2 and Tundra. With a drop pan it seems superfluous to use the drain plug.
